It is past midnight EST, and the results of the Iowa caucus have yet to come in as a comedy of errors has plagued the initial contest between Democrat presidential candidates.
The presidential campaign of Joe Biden has released a statement through their general counsel Dana Remus attempting to explain the bizarre circumstances that have resulted in the long and unprecedented delay.
In the letter, Remus could possibly be making the case that the Biden campaign will ultimately dispute the results when it is all said and done.
“I write on behalf of the Biden for President Campaign regarding the considerable flaws in tonight’s Iowa Caucus reporting system. The app that was intended to relay Caucus results to the Party failed; the Party’s back-up telephonic reporting system likewise has failed. Now, we understand that Caucus Chairs are attempting to – and, in many cases, failing to – report results telephonically to the Party. These acute failures are occurring statewide,” she explained.
“We appreciate that you plan to brief the campaigns momentarily on these issues, and we plan to participate. However, we believe that the campaigns deserve full explanations and relevant information regarding the methods of quality control you are employing, and an opportunity to respond, before any official results are released. We look forward to hearing from you promptly,” Remus continued.
“In the meantime, we are on to New Hampshire, on the road to the most important election of our lifetimes,” she concluded.

Early indicators from the results are that Biden may place as low as fifth place, behind long-shot candidate Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), in the caucus results. This would be a nightmarish result for Biden, who came into the caucus as arguably the front-runner to win the nomination.

Pocahontas’ campaign manager has confirmed that Biden is in a distant fourth, according to their estimates of the results. They are calling it a three-person race between Pocahontas, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and homosexual South Bend, IN Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
“From what we can tell, Warren, [Bernie] Sanders, and [Pete] Buttigieg, based on our own data and data collected by our own operations and organization, are fighting for the lead and it’s clear that Biden is a distant forth,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s campaign manager Roger Lau’s said to reporters after the candidate proclaimed “we are built for the long haul” to her supporters.
Conspiracy theories may be the only thing to help Biden’s campaign save face from an all-time humiliating performance, which Obama senior advisor David Axelrod has admitted.
It probably won’t be long before Biden is blaming this entire debacle on the Russians.
