Defense Department is Exposed For Doling Out Roughly $500,000 For “Indigenous Knowledge” Research

By Jose Nino

According to a report by the Washington Free Beacon, the Defense Department doled out roughly  $500,000 to a small company in rural Alaska to investigate “indigenous knowledge.”

What this money will be allocated towards is still up in the air. Per the contract’s description, Northern Social-Environmental Research Inc. will use $499,995 for a “northern social-environmental research proposal” that deals with “advancing methods to engage and apply indigenous knowledge for increased understanding of arctic coastal systems through community-based research.”

“Indigenous knowledge” is a farcical subject matter that argues native Indians hold unique insights into how the world actually works. President Joe Biden has directed all federal agencies to place a priority on incorporating “indigenous knowledge” in their rulemaking process.  Scientists critical of this subject matter argue that this process is “extremely dangerous.”

Internal agency guidelines crafted by the Biden regime urge federal employees to hold conversations with “spiritual leaders” and reject “methodological dogma.” Staff are also instructed to comply with basic principles of “indigenous knowledge” that include considering both the “physical and metaphysical world linked to moral code” in addition to “inherited wisdom.”

This small firm is based out of Fairbanks, Alaska. Northern Social-Environmental Research only has two people on staff. The firm claims it carries out “qualitative research, project management, outreach, engagement, and administrative services on behalf of communities, organizations, and interdisciplinary research teams throughout Alaska and Beyond.”

The business’ owner, Tracie Curry, says on the group’s website that she “specializes in social-environmental systems thinking community engagement, and decision-support products that bring place-based information like local/Indigenous knowledge to the forefront of planning and decision-making processes.”

At this point, we should assume that all government agencies in this US federal government have been thoroughly captured by wokism. This does not augur well for the institutional stability of the US and could lead to its inevitable civilization decline if they are not checked.
