Following Sean Hannity’s embarrassing buckling on coverage of the Seth Rich case, sources at Fox News told Big League Politics that he was pressured to relent by one of the Murdochs.
“One of the Murdoch sons was all up his ass over this,” another insider told Big League Politics.
Prior to airtime, Hannity had tweeted, “huge announcement tonight about Seth Rich, Trump/Russian Collusion corrupt media, the liberal effort to silence me. And my future at Fox!”
But as we reported, it turned out that his “huge announcement” was that he was caving into pressure and would no longer be covering the story “at this time.”
While his statements on the show indicated that he was cowering to Media Matters, who had called for a boycott of his advertisers — it seems that one of Murdoch’s sons was actually behind it.
“Please do not interpret what I’m saying tonight to mean anything — don’t read into this — I promise you I am not going to stop doing my job — to the extent of my ability. I am not going to stop trying to find the truth,” Hannity cryptically said on air. “That effort is not stopping in any way shape matter or form. I am continuing the work I promise to do every day for you — and at the proper time we shall continue to talk a lot more.”
After the show, the Fox News host took to Twitter once again, sharing an epic Ben Garrison cartoon of Julian Assange’s friend Kim Dotcom, and declaring that he is “closer to the truth” than ever.
Interestingly, Murdoch’s sons were also rumored to be behind the firings of both Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes.
“Apparently, the wives of the ascendant sons of Rupert Murdoch, James and Lachlan, have been making moves behind the scenes. First, they succeeded in their efforts to get the guy who helmed Fox News since its inception, Roger Ailes, shitcanned last summer. Now, they’ve gotten an arguably even bigger scalp…” the Ralph Retort reported in April.
One look at James Murdoch’s wife Kathryn Murdoch’s Twitter account and it is immediately clear that her views are in direct conflict of those presented by the most popular hosts at Fox News.
She is also a fan of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner — while hostile towards White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon.
Earlier in the day, Kim Dotcom, a tech entrepreneur who is close to WikiLeaks, released a public statement declaring that Rich was the leaker — and that he knows this because he was in contact with him.
“I know this because in late 2014 a person contacted me about helping me to start a branch of the Internet Party in the United States. He called himself Panda. I now know that Panda was Seth Rich,” Kim wrote in his statement. “Panda advised me that he was working on voter analytics tools and other technologies that the Internet Party may find helpful. I communicated with Panda on a number of topics including corruption and the influence of corporate money in politics.”
Dotcom added that, “he wanted to change that from the inside.”
Following Dotcom’s statement, mainstream media suddenly gained scruples about covering murder investigations. Pundits, journalists and Democratic Party insiders immediately sprung into action viciously attacking and attempting to shut down any coverage of the new information — because a Democratic crisis manager who is representing the family told them to. Anyone who dared to report the highly newsworthy claims was immediately branded “insensitive to the family,” “ghoulish,” and “fake news.”
Apparently their mission was successful.

Is there not one patriot out there who will spill the beans?
Everyone's aware of the Clinton body count. Witnesses will be promptly murdered and not a damn thing will be done about it.
/pol/ already has more information. Your days are numbered liberal scum.
I love /pol/!
What is it?
Sad that Hannity caved. It proves that the dark side controls the entire media. They can get to anyone.
Just proves as usual Hannity is full of sh*t.
He is an entertainer revving up those who lack the ability to think for themselves!!
A pure show boater.
He is not a journalist's ars*hole.
A true journalist would gather some real facts rather than continue to promote conspiracy theories like Hannity.
Maybe, just maybe, the Murdoch son's might be wanting to turn Faux Spews into a real Fox News which everyone can believe.
This would leave the Murdoch son's something about which they could be proud!!
You're funny.
Funny in a vitriolic, hateful, venom spewing kinda way????
"Maybe, just maybe, the Murdoch son's might be wanting to turn Faux Spews into a real Fox News which everyone can believe."
Wouldn't that be nice.
But after perusing some of the comments here and on Twitter by gullible sycophants and group thinkers it aint gonna be easy. :-)
I hope the Murdoch beta males DO ruin Fox News by trying to turn it into liberal light. That would ensure all the conservatives and libertarians create their own media outlet.
Hannity you're full of s*#t.
And the DNC is full of dead bodies. The latest one is Beranton Wisenant....a Federal prosecutor working on passport and visa fraud. He was found on a Hollywood, FL beach with a head wound. All this happened in Debbie Wasserman Schultz's district. He and Killery have got to start hiring better hitmen.
If Rupert Murdoch leaves them his company his life will have been for nothing.
When a story like this brings out such high numbers of trolls you can be sure that the Left is AFRAID.
Not progressives. We are thrilled that Hannity is doing this.
True, they reactivated their online shill network as well. That must cost hundreds of thousands of dollars even for a short time. Seth Rich is obviously the leaker, a revelation that would be devastating to not just the DNC but also the establishment media. It's a propaganda construct too big to fail. It needs to be toppled by outside forces.
I hope Hannity is still on it. The man interviews generals and presidents. He should have sources far above those of a local Fox outfit. If that forensic report of the computer exists, he might be able to get it.

You got it. Fox gets the highest ratings and the most ad revenue when there is a prolonged controversy, not a resolution. Also remember how Fox gave debate questions to Jeb in advance. And how several anchors were backing Clinton. Fox cannot afford to acknowledge corruption which is extensive enough that a proper expose could also bring down establishment Republicans who knew the Russian hack story was being jinned up to cover a leak and a murder.

Anyone else find this Sean Hannity drama hilarious?

No, I don't find anything particularly funny about the unsolved murder of Seth Rich. I'm sure all you sick people on the left are having a good chuckle about it though.
"Cars[dot]com is Pulling its Ads From Sean Hannity’s Program"

Indeed, they were put under a lot of pressure to. There are a lot of people on the left who don't want this story covered at all. They're completely content to let his murder go unsolved.
But wouldn't you agree that Fox News never has taken a story down unless untrue? They thrive on outside pressure bc it appeals to their base.

I believe it was due to trolls like you. I see your hateful rhetoric and sick innuendos in the comments. Sad pathetic little manboy believes himself better than others and you think your opinion is the only that matters.
Ah 'Commenting truism #198'
The first person to lower themselves to name calling is with rare exception losing the argument.
Capiche?
There's also this:
"‘ARE WE STILL AIRING THAT SH*T?!’ Fox News Staffers Reportedly Embarrassed by Seth Rich Coverage"
http://www.mediaite.com/online/are-we-still-airing-that-sht-fox-news-staffers-reportedly-embarrassed-by-seth-rich-coverage/
I would agree that they didn't vet the story thoroughly enough. It doesn't mean that the story was false, only that it wasn't supported well enough. More investigation is needed. Fox said that they would update the story if more information is brought to light.
So Hannity will make his disclosures on his syndicated daily radio show instead. Fox has no control over that.
Whenever the left starts circling the wagons and making threats, you know you've found where the bodies are buried.
