Facebook Bans Pro-Trump Pages Over False Reports of Nudity

By Cassandra Fairbanks

The Facebook pages “Trump Daily,” “Dan Sessions” and “TD Newswire” were all removed from the platform on Thursday over false claims that posts containing news stories were “nudity” and “spam.”

Screenshots of the posts and excuses for removing the pages were provided by the site admins Dan Morris and Lindsey Michelle of SwampDrain.com to the Conservative Firing Line.

Though the posts clearly do not contain nudity — or even news reports that are sexual in nature — the pages which collectively had over 850,000 followers were removed.

“All I’ve got is hundreds of notifications that my posts in groups etc. were spam and they all say it was because of nudity,” Morris told CFL. He added that “they basically shut our website out of Facebook yesterday and took my three pages that I’ve worked my butt off for two years to grow away.”

As Big League Politics has previously reported, there appears to be a very strong war against deplorables on the social media giant.

Facebook’s conduct in this matter is part of a continuing pattern. Big League Politics reported  earlier this year that another major pro-Trump group with 132,000 members was deleted by Facebook with no explanation. After our report and widespread Deplorable outrage, Facebook backed down after seven days and re-instated the group.

In 2016, a former “curator” for Facebook’s trending topics section detailed how conservative news stories would often be prevented from making the coveted top-stories list on the social media platform.

Facebook did not return a request for comment by time of publishing.
