Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo is exposing the Biden administration for severely restricting access to monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID-19 sufferers.
Ladapo wrote a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services on Tuesday calling out the agency for restricting access to the treatment shortly after the state hit the milestone of treating 100,000 COVID patients with monoclonal antibodies.
“The federal government is actively preventing the effective distribution of monoclonal antibody treatments in the U.S,” Ladapo said.
“The sudden suspension of multiple monoclonal antibody therapy treatments from distribution to Florida removes a health care provider’s ability to decide the best treatment options for their patients in this state. This shortsightedness is especially evident given that the federal government effectively prohibited states from purchasing these monoclonal antibodies and serving their populations directly,” he added.
Big League Politics has reported on the Biden administration’s restriction of monoclonal antibody treatments under the guise that the treatment is less effective to the Omicron variant:
“The administration of Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is working with the Biden regime in order to shutter monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID-19 in his state.
Meritus Health, a firm that specializes in the infusion of monoclonal antibodies as a COVID-19 treatment, made the announcement on Wednesday.
“As of Dec. 22, 2021, the Maryland Department of Health, based on recommendations from the Federal Health and Human Services (HHS), has paused federal allocation of bamlavinimab/etesevimab and Regen-COV, the agents that have been used for monoclonal antibody infusion therapy for COVID-19,” Meritus announced.
They claimed that this move was being made with the excuse of the rise of the omicron variant, which is supposedly resistant against this kind of treatment.
“We understand this news will be concerning to members of our community who may be waiting to receive this therapy,” says Carrie Adams, chief transformation officer for Meritus Health. “While we must comply with this direction from the state, we are committed to the care and support of patients in our community.”‘
The behavior of the federal government suggests that they want the COVID-19 pandemic to continue for as long as possible. This may go down as the most ghastly medical crime in history when it is all said and done.
