Former FBI Agent Peter Strzok Subpoenaed to Testify Publicly Over Anti-Trump Bias

By Peter D'Abrosca

Two House committees have issued a subpoena for a disgraced former FBI agent to testify publicly at a joint hearing next week.

According to The Hill, the Judiciary Committee and the Oversight and Government Reform Committee issued a subpoena to Peter Strzok this morning. Strzok has been publicly scrutinized for his anti-Trump bias during a supposedly non-partisan investigation into Hillary R. Clinton’s use of a private email server for government affairs.

Big League Politics reported:

FBI agent and integral Obama-Gate operative Peter Strzok declared to his mistress Lisa Page that he and his fellow “Crossfire Hurricane” agents would stop President Donald Trump from winning the 2016 election.

Rep. Mark Meadows said that this information was withheld from Congress — clearly by deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein and others.

This proves definitively what observers already know: James Comey’s FBI was weaponized against Trump in order to help Hillary Clinton win the election. Clinton was already the Democratic nominee when the following exchange occurred, courtesy of Thursday’s Inspector General report by Michael Horowitz.

BLP Passage Ends.

It is not clear whether Strzok will comply with the subpoena, but Strzok’s lawyer has been on the offensive since his client’s anti-Trump bias was publicly confirmed.

“Having sharpened their knives behind closed doors, the committee would now like to drag back Special Agent Strzok and have him testify in public — a request that we originally made and the committee denied,” attorney Aitan Goelman wrote in a letter to the Judiciary Committee. “What’s being asked of Special Agent Strzok is to participate in what anyone can recognize as a trap.”

House lawmakers interviewed Strzok behind closed doors for 11 hours last week, during which he reportedly denied any anti-Trump bias in his handling of the Clinton investigation.
