A Guardian reporter has placed the blame for today’s synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania squarely at the feet of Salena Zito, for reasons unknown.
“In middle of a somber moment at staging area while I was talking to a member of the Jewish community this @guardian reporter started screaming at me that I was an anti-Semite/that I caused shooting because I reports on Trump & to leave and kept screaming in my face to get out,” Zito said on Twitter.
Zito is an author and a writer at The New York Post and Washington Examiner. She is also a CNN contributor. Her book, “The Great Revolt,” argues that America is in the midst of a populist uprising and that the sentiment will last long after President Donald J. Trump exits the highest office in the land.
According to multiple reports, 11 people were killed at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh by a staunch anti-Semite.
The suspect is 46-year-old Robert Bowers, who allegedly made anti-Semitic comments during the slaughter and was an active anti-Semite on social media.
“Trump is a globalist, not a nationalist. There is no #MAGA as long as there is a k**** infestation. #Qanon is here to get patriots who were against martial law in the 90’s to be the ones begging for it now to drain muh swamp. But go ahead and keep saying you are #Winning,” Bowers recently said.
Zito is unconnected to Saturday’s tragic events other than her reporting on the event.
