It Gets Even Worse: Bud Light To BUY BACK Unsold, Expired Beer From Wholesalers

By Bo Banks

The Bud Light boycott just keeps going with no signs of slowing down.

In what has turned into something far greater and more impactful than most conservatives could have ever imagined, the boycott against Bud Light has led to a whopping 23.6% drop in sales compared to a year ago.

Things have gotten so bad for Bud Light that the company is now buying back unsold, expired beer from wholesalers.

“Bud Light has reportedly told wholesalers that it will buy back unsold cases of beer that are past their expiration dates as sales of the Anheuser-Busch-owned brand have lagged following its disastrous marketing partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney,” the Post reported

Since teaming up with the trans influencer, Bud Light has been scrambling to find a solution for its tarnished brand reputation.

“We believe there is a subset of American consumers who will not drink a Bud Light for the foreseeable future,” JPMorgan analysts said on Tuesday.

The analysts also stated that Bud Light alienated its customers by teaming up with Mulvaney. Which is why they predict Anheuser-Busch earnings will decline 26% in the US this year

Also from the Post:

The fallout has led to two of the company’s top marketing executives being put on leaves of absence.

Nationwide retail sales of Bud Light sales dropped 23.6% versus a year ago during the week of May 6 — which was slightly down from the 23.3% decline for the week that ended April 29, according to data from Bump Williams Consulting and NielsenIQ data.

Sales of other Anheuser-Busch brands also continued to drop, albeit at a slower rate than the week before.

Those included Budweiser, down 9.7% versus an 11.4% drop a week earlier; Michelob Ultra, down 2.9% versus 4.3%; and Natural Light, down 2.5% versus 5.2% the previous week.

New headlines are written almost daily detailing just how bad this boycott has affected Bud Light in America.

Conservatives often call for boycotts against corporations who go against their values and beliefs, but those are often short lived. The Bud Light controversy proves to be different.

Another boycott from conservatives that is seemingly on the horizon is against Target who hired a Satanist to design Pride clothing aimed at youngsters – even babies in some cases.

The question is whether an objectively worse move by Target – projecting Satanism and trans culture onto minors – will prompt conservatives to stay organized long enough to deal a blow as fatal and impactful as the one against Bug Light. Only time will tell.
