Do as I say, not as I do. This is the motto of every Hollywood, media, and government elitist. Katy Perry is no different.
She has called for open borders on several occasions.
“The greatest thing we can do now is just unite and love on each other. Like, no barriers, like, we all need to just coexist,” she said in an interview shortly after an ISIS bombing of an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, UK.
Perry’s plan was to leave the border wide open for more terrorists to stroll in and kill innocent teenangers at concerts. She later defended the comments, which some deemed out of place considering the tragedy that had just occurred.
“The media has edited my words out of context, I was talking about online fan culture and how we must unite now,” she said.
But early this year, Perry up some barriers of her own after a crazed fan rushed the stage at one of her concerts. A Polish immigrant who was obsessed with the pop star, and had stalked her and attended at least six of her shows in a row, was arrested, charged with several crimes, and deported from the U.S.
“Katy Perry can breathe a sigh of relief — the 37-year-old man who said he’d “do whatever it takes” to be with the singer is getting booted from the country … TMZ has learned,” said a TMZ article from January.
Borders for me, but not for thee, according to Perry.
Speaking of borders, Perry would not completely fit the bill of Hollywood elitist completely lacking in self-awareness if she did not have a giant border wall surrounding her own property. Here is a photo:
And another:
Coexisting must only be for the peons who have made Perry rich to being with. She travels with armed security, has a wall around her home, is responsible for having one of her fans deported, and wants to lecture ordinary Americans on border security policy.
Only in Hollywood can someone who is so out-of-touch be so well-respected.
