Koch-Favorite GOP Congressman Officiates Homosexual Wedding for Media Photo Op

By Shane Trejo

Rep. Denver Riggleman (R-VA) officiated a “fabulous gay summer wedding ” on Sunday and received a gushing profile in the globalist Washington Post as a result.

Riggleman brought together the union between Anthony LeCounte and Alex Pisciarino, two Log Cabin Republicans who describe themselves as “staunchly conservative.” They volunteered for Riggleman’s campaign after attending a few of his campaign events last year, and believe the Congressman shares their values.

The Post noted how public sentiment has shifted in recent years as the LGBT movement has become more pervasive throughout American society, saying that “it was unusual even for socially liberal elected officials to preside over same-sex weddings” just a few years ago.

Now, homosexual weddings are considered by some to be a conservative value.

“My real belief is that government shouldn’t be involved in marriage at all, but if it is, everybody has to be treated equally before the law,” Riggleman said to the Post. “And that is part of our Republican creed. And it also comes down to love is love. I’m happy to join two people together who obviously love each other.”

Riggleman came into Congress as a libertarian-leaning Republican, rather than a populist Trump supporter, garnering support from powerful organizations that are known to support globalism under the guise of the free market.

Riggleman’s principal campaign committee, Friends of Denver Riggleman Inc., received a donation from Koch Industries in June 2018. The Koch network has pushed gay marriage and the rest of the LGBT agenda for decades, as they have pushed the Republican Party toward a libertine stance on social issues.

One of Riggleman’s biggest donors is the Club for Growth, who gave his principal campaign committee a substantial donation of $104,834 during the 2018 election cycle. The Club for Growth is one of the most influential conservative groups standing in opposition to President Donald Trump’s ‘America First’ trade agenda.

“Tariffs, on our nation’s closest allies no less, will reverse the positive impact of President Trump’s historic tax cuts,” Club for Growth President David McIntosh said. “Furthermore, history tells us tariffs will harm our nation’s economic growth and will trigger a trade war that will wreak the greatest harm on hardworking Americans.

“Club for Growth encourages the Trump Administration to go back to the drawing board and halt the imposition of these damaging tariffs,” he added.

The organization went to war with Trump, doing everything they could to torpedo his ascendant candidacy, while he was running for President.

“This year one candidate has emerged who would be a terrible leader on economic growth,” McIntosh said of Trump in 2016.

“He’s the worst kind of politician, he says anything to get elected, then he’ll do just the opposite when in office,” he added.

The prototypical legislator for the Club for Growth is Riggleman, who will go with the flow on key social and economic issues while always voting for what’s best for the billionaire donor class that has bankrolled the Republican Party for generations.
