LOL: Mayor Bill De Blasio’s Snitch Text Line is Bombarded with Nude Pictures, Offensive Memes

By Shane Trejo

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio opened up a snitch line last week for city residents to take pictures of their fellow man disobeying coronavirus edicts and rat them out via text message.

De Blasio’s idea to turn people against each other has backfired severely after trolls immediately deluged his number with lewd photographs, angry insults and offensive memes. It began after a successful social media campaign targeted the line with derision and called for action.

“F–k you!” user @MorganLSchmidt1 wrote in a Twitter post, alongside a meme featuring Adolf Hitler and the words “TO THOSE TURNING IN YOUR NEIGHBORS AND LOCAL BUSINESSES — YOU DID THE REICH THING.”

“Start flooding their reporting text numbers with this pics!” the tweet added.

According to the New York Post, men are sending pictures of their genitalia to the message line. One user actually reported Mayor de Blasio, claiming that he violated social distancing orders while performing sexual favors on a man “in an alleyway behind a 7-11.”

“He looked at me…and coofed in my direction,” the informant said.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) was forced to temporarily shut down the service because they were getting besieged with these sort of messages.

“The city has begun vetting everything before dispersing the information to precincts,” the NYPD source said.

De Blasio made the announcement of his snitch line on Saturday, urging New York City residents to act as citizen spies as the far-left ideologue exploits coronavirus panic to institute Soviet-style repression in the Big Apple.

“We still know there’s some people who need to get the message. And that means sometimes making sure the enforcement is there to educate people and make clear we’ve got to have social distancing,” de Blasio said in his video address posted on social media.

“Sending that photo in is going to help make sure that people are kept apart, and that’s going to stop the disease from spreading. And that’s going to save lives,” he added.

De Blasio is trying to kick the authoritarianism into high gear even while Governor Andrew Cuomo is admitting that the coronavirus pandemic is improving.

“If you look at the past three days, you could argue we are past the plateau and starting to descend, and that is good news,” Cuomo said during a briefing from the State Capitol last week.

De Blasio is intent on not letting this crisis go to waste, but his Orwellian scheme has backfired. The internet has buried his idea to turn citizens into snitches against each other.
