National Institute of Health Admits NGO Funded by Fauci Violated ‘Gain-of-Function’ Research Rules

By Richard Moorhead

A new letter from the National Institute of Health sent in response to inquiry from Kentucky Congressman James Comer reveals a non-governmental organization funded by Dr. Anthony Fauci failed to comply with grant terms intended to prevent dangerous ‘gain of function’ research into viruses, leaving the federal government in the dark about the biosafety ramifications of research conducted at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Fauci funded EchoHealth Alliance in his capacity as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

The letter from the NIH strongly insists that the viruses researched by EcoHealth Alliance couldn’t have been closely related to the COVID-19 disease causing the ongoing global pandemic, citing genetic differences with the closest relative studied by EcoHealth’s subcontractor, the Wuhan Institute of Virology. However, the NIH does admit that EcoHealth Alliance failed to report a one log increase in growth of coronaviruses it was researching as a result of its experiments. The increase in growth refers, in layman’s terms, to a virus’ ability to spread itself more effectively and infect more organisms.

EcoHealth failed to report this finding right away, as required by the terms of the grant.”

If EcoHealth failed to report potentially dangerous evolution of viruses it was researching through the Wuhan lab, what other scientific malpractice could the organization have failed to report to the federal government?

Gain of function research entails breeding viruses to increase their lethality and spreading potential in an attempt to analyze future outbreaks before they enter into existence naturally, posing enormous danger to mankind through creating more potent versions of existing viruses. Dr. Anthony Fauci has strongly insisted that the research conducted with NIAID funding at the Wuhan Institute of Virology didn’t amount to gain of function, but documents published by The Intercept reveal EcoHealth Wuhan research entailed dangerous biosafety risks, including viral strains more likely to infect humans and entering bat caves though to be a reservoir of naturally occurring coronaviruses.

Senator Rand Paul, who has referred Dr. Fauci to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution for lying about gain-of-function research in Wuhan, pointed to the letter as damning evidence against the rogue doctor.
