Nayib Bukele Believes the Russia-Ukraine Conflict is a Distraction

By Jose Nino

On February 13, 2021, El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele declared that the crisis in Ukraine is a distraction.

Instead, he suggested that the “real war” is being waged against the people of Western countries through Wuhan virus mandates and the implementation of other restrictive measures in the name of public health.

On Twitter, Bukele declared “The real war is not in Ukraine, it’s in Canada, Australia, France, Brussels, England, Germany, Italy… They just want you to look the other way.”

Bukele posted images of French riot police using armored vehicles to quell a protests emulating Canada’s Freedom Convoy protests:

The Salvadoran president  tweeted on February 12, “This is Paris, today.

Imagine this was in El Salvador…

What would France, the European Union, and the “international community” say?

Honestly.”

For the past few months, the Western foreign policy establishment has been beating the war drums with regards to Russia. This is the latest chapter in the irrational hysteria levied towards the Eurasian power.

It serves as a convenient distraction for western governments that are engaging in tyrannical actions towards their citizens through the Wuhan virus vaccination mandates, lockdowns, and masking requirements. Bukele is correct in noting that the real threat is coming from domestic governments and not from boogiemen like Russia.

The enemy always lies within.
