According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 18% of likely United States voters believe most politicians bring up racial issues to address real problems. 70% indicated that politicians raise racial issues only to be elected.
42% of votes believe political candidates talk about racial issues far too much in their campaigns. However, 21% of voters believe these kinds of issues are discussed too little. 29% of voters indicated that the level of discussion of racial matters in politics is just right.
74% of Democrat voters believe their own party has done more for black Americans, while 71% of Republicans believe the GOP has done more for black Americans. Among independent voters, 37% signaled that Democrats have done more, 33% believe Republican voters have done more and 23% believe both major parties have been roughly the same with respect to what they’ve done for black Americans.
82% of Republican voters, 55% of Democrat voters, or 74% of independent voters believe the majority of politicians bring up racial issues just to come into power. 22% of Democrat voters, 60% of Republicans voters, and 46% independent voters believe political candidates discuss racial issues too much in their campaigns.
45% of black voters, 15% of white voters, 20% of Hispanics voters and 25% of other non-black minorities believe political candidates discuss racial maters too little in their campaigns. 73% of white voters, 61% of black voters, and 66% of Hispanic voters and other non-black minorities believe most politicians bring up racial issues just to be elected. 52% of black voters believe that the Democratic Party has done more for blacks.
When it comes to income earners, those making over $200,000 annually are the most likely to believe Democrats have done more to help blacks.
Race politics in America is noxious. At the end of the day, this kind of politics is designed to attack America’s white core. If America is to move forward as a society, it has to categorically reject this kind of anti-white politics and start pushing for a pro-white agenda that consists of immigration restriction, economic nationalism, and a restrained foreign policy restraint.
