Insiders with the Canadian Liberal Party and Prime Minister’s Office have allegedly revealed that Justin Trudeau is showing extreme worry over the ongoing truckers’ convoy protest.
Speaking with Canada’s Elect Conservatives on a condition of anonymity, the party sources revealed that the far-left government is gravely concerned with the ongoing protests in Ottawa and across the country.
“This is all new territory for them, and not something they ever saw coming,” said one party insider. “They figured that these COVID measures would continue as long as needed, but yeah, it was a shock to the system when they saw the convoy and the number of people cheering them on.”
Another source indicated that Trudeau has been greatly struggling to deal with the reality of a pro-freedom protest that he lost control of.
“He’s not dealing well with it – he’s definitely panicked and bruised,” the source said. “I can’t say much more, but it’s not looking good. We’ve never seen him this frustrated or worried about something…yeah, it certainly feels like he’s a deer in the headlights right now.”
This allegation was perhaps not surprising to many; the Canadian prime minister recently drew criticism after he fleed the capital during the truckers’ protest.
Trudeau has been amping up his radical rhetoric against Canadian truckers and other freedom-fighters of the nation as of late, recently labeling those who oppose him as “racist, homophonic and misogynist.” In spite of such tactics, the Canadian freedom convoy was able to raise a whopping $9 million on GoFundMe‘ the leftist crowd-funding website both shut the campaign down and suggested they would steal the donors’ funds before backpedaling.
“Given how this situation has evolved, no further funds will be directly distributed to the Freedom Convoy organizers,” GoFundMe said in a previous statement before later posting they would instead directly refund every user. “We will work with organizers to send all remaining funds to credible and established charities chosen by the Freedom Convoy 2022 organizers and verified by GoFundMe.”
