Report: President Trump Says Meghan McCain is ‘Dumber’ Than Her Father

By Shane Trejo

A report from a new book about the Trump administration is alleging that the President has had some harsh words regarding deceased Sen. John McCain’s daughter.

Meghan McCain, who frequently denigrates the President while appearing on ABC’s The View as the token conservative, holds a major vendetta against Trump because he humiliated her late father during his rise to power. Trump has reportedly told his friends what he really thinks of her.

In a new book Sinking in the Swamp: How Trump’s Minions and Misfits Poisoned Washington, Trump is quoted as saying that the female McCain is “dumber” than her father. He also questioned if McCain has “been getting fatter,” which does to the naked eye appear to be the case.

If these reports are true, Trump’s comments toward McCain are more than deserved considering the invective she has sent his way over the years.

“He spends his weekend obsessing over great men because he knows it and I know it, and all of you know it, he will never be a great man,” she said on “The View” last year about President Trump. “My father was his kryptonite in life, he is his kryptonite in death.”

“No one will ever love you the way they loved my father…. I wish I had been given more Saturday’s with him. Maybe spend yours with your family instead of on twitter obsessing over mine?” she snapped at President Trump in a tweet.

Despite purportedly being a conservative, McCain likely plans to vote for former Vice President Joe Biden if he is the Democrat Party alternative to Trump in November’s election.

“I get asked about this all the time and I will say — and I’m just going to leave this like this — Joe Biden and I, everyone knows, are very close,” McCain said. “And I love him dearly and I think he is a truly decent, wonderful human being that could be very healing for the country.”

“And I hope he stays true to the politician he as always been,” she added.

“Joe Biden is one of the truly decent and compassionate men in all of American politics. He has helped me through my fathers diagnosis, treatment and ultimate passing more than anyone of my fathers friends combined. I wish there was more empathy from our politicians not less,” she wrote about Biden in a Tweet.

Whether or not this report is fake news, Trump’s hostile sentiments toward McCain are just as deserved as the criticisms he levied against her father – the infamous Songbird who handed the presidency over to Barack H. Obama.
