Rider University Ditches Chick-Fil-A Over Company’s Christian Values

By Peter D'Abrosca

A small university in Pennsylvania has removed Chick-Fil-A as a dining option from a student survey because of the company’s stated Christian values, which they see as an affront to the LGBT community.

“Rider University removed the restaurant from a survey asking students what restaurants they would like on campus, ‘based on the company’s record widely perceived to be in opposition to the LGBTQ community,'” according to CBS17.

This is becoming a common trend on university campuses, and one that should make parents reconsider sending their children away for a “higher education.” The cult of progressivism is replacing Christianity in the name of appeasing liberals.

“Rider says it understands some may view the decision as a ‘form of exclusion.’ But the school says it wanted to be ‘faithful to our values of inclusion,’ the report said.

Funny how that works, isn’t it?

First of all, no one need be excluded. Why can’t the grown adults who attend Rider and do not agree with Chick-Fil-A’s values simply not eat there? Why must it be done away with completely? Secondly, once a university decides to cave to the social justice mob and create a situation where one group necessarily becomes excluded, it is always the conservative side that comes out on the losing end.

Rider did not immediately return a comment request.

Universities are nothing but leftist propaganda centers that crank out braindead, overgrown toddlers who once had promising futures before their reprogramming.

On that note, it’s lunch time. I think I’ll have some Chick-Fil-A.
