Sally Yates Hire At DOJ Responsible For Mueller Appointment, Sessions Recusal

By Patrick Howley

WASHINGTON — Associate deputy attorney general Scott Schools, the highest-ranking career lawyer in the Department of Justice, was hired by anti-President Trump conspirator Sally Yates in October 2016 at a key moment in the anti-Trump Deep State conspiracy.

A top official tells Big League Politics that Scott Schools, as the most trusted DOJ ethics official, told Rod Rosenstein NOT to recuse himself in any cases involving alleged Russian collusion, and that Schools is also responsible for advising Jeff Sessions to recuse himself from the case. Schools then advised Rosenstein to appoint Robert Mueller as special counsel.

The liberal magazine Slate, which called Schools the “conscience” of the DOJ last year, acknowledged that Schools advised Rosenstein to appoint Mueller and to not recuse himself.

That puts Sally Yates, the DOJ official who lost her job for refusing to obey President Trump’s travel ban, firmly at the center of the entire Robert Mueller affair. Don McGahn, White House counsel close to Rosenstein, is fingered as another bad actor in the mess.

Sally Yates also put the screws in General Michael Flynn, kicking him out of the White House, and was instrumental in helping disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok in his spirited bid to subvert the law to stop President Trump.

Big League Politics reported:

The evidence is clear and mounting that former Obama deputy attorney general Sally Yates’ right-hand lawyer at the Department of Justice ordered then-deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe to shut down the Bureau’s investigation of the Clinton Foundation.

Insiders believe that McCabe is vulnerable to being “flipped” against other anti-President Donald Trump conspirators like James Comey, as McCabe faces a DOJ investigation stemming from an inspector general’s criminal referral for McCabe’s own conduct in the growing “Obamagate” scandal.

McCabe is squealing against some of the other conspirators, including a then-DOJ official whom insiders believe reported directly to Sally Yates.

Yates’ connection to this massive potential obstruction of justice was highlighted by the writer and researcher J. Christian Adams and promoted by talk radio legend Rush Limbaugh.

Here is a passage from inspector general Michael Horowitz’s report:

“McCabe told the OIG that on August 12, 2016, he received a telephone call from PADAG regarding the FBI’s handling of the CF Investigation (the ‘PADAG call’). McCabe said that PADAG expressed concerns about FBI agents taking overt steps in the CF Investigation during the presidential campaign…

“According to McCabe, he pushed back, asking, ‘Are you telling me that I need to shut down a validly predicated investigation?’ McCabe told us that the conversation was ‘very dramatic’ and he never had a similar confrontation like the PADAG call with a high level Department official in his entire FBI career.”

IG report passage ends

Who was the PADAG at that time?

None other than Matthew Axelrod, Sally Yates’ right-hand man, who left the Department of Justice when Yates was fired for defying President Trump’s executive order on the Muslim travel ban. Axelrod went on to become a partner in white-collar criminal defense at the Washington law firm Linklaters…”
