Trump’s Billionaire Coal Donor Dies In Helicopter Crash In Bahamas

President Donald Trump donor Chris Cline, a coal tycoon from West Virginia who lived in North Palm Beach, is dead in a helicopter crash on foreign soil. Cline was arguably the biggest coal executive in America, owned coal reserves throughout the Appalachia region, and donated big to President Trump’s inauguration.

MarketWatch reports: “Police in the Bahamas say the bodies of seven Americans in a downed helicopter have been taken to the capital in Nassau to be officially identified. Billionaire Chris Cline was among those Americans killed in the crash.

Police superintendent Shanta Knowles said they responded to a missing aircraft report from Florida, and were told that billionaire Chris Cline and a group of Americans from Big Grand Cay failed to arrive as expected in Fort Lauderdale. Cline, a billionaire coal tycoon, turned Foresight Energy into a billion-dollar company. Cline was also a major donor to Republican politicians

Chris Cline was a noted philanthropist in his home of West Virginia, and the state’s governor, Jim Justice, mourned Cline on Twitter.”
