VIDEO: Republican Candidate for FL State Attorney CONFRONTED Over Her Ties To Islamic Terrorism

By Laura Loomer

On Tuesday, I traveled to Fort Myers, Florida where I confronted Amira Dajani, a Republican candidate for State attorney in Florida.

Dajani, otherwise known as “Amy Fox”, has a dark family history which she has been extremely reluctant to address on the campaign trail.

An investigation into Dajani and her family has revealed that she has ties to the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), a known terrorist group that is responsible for the slaughter of thousands of Israelis.

In her father’s 10 year old autobiography, “From Palestine to America,” Taher Dajani, born in Jaffa, Israel vents his frustrations about the “Jewish Lobby” and the “Christian Right,” but most intriguingly discusses his brother Sidqi Dajani, who lived in Cairo, Egypt.

Sidqi Dajani, who is Amira’s uncle, was an Executive Committee member of the PLO.

The book makes reference to Sidqi’s “political and scholarly activities:”

Sidqi’s full name is Ahmad Sidqi-al-Dajani, and he served as an Executive Committee member of the PLO, which is the only official “government” body of Palestinians. The Chairman of the Executive Committee is often called the “President” of Palestine. Brutal warmonger Yasser Arafat was the Chairman of the PLO from 1964 to 2004, whom Dajani worked with closely.

The book “Armed Struggle and the Search for State: The Palestinian National Movement” by Yezid Sayigh details some of Sidqi’s activities as an Executive Committee member of the PLO, including representing the PLO on an official basis in Cairo.

Sidqi even met with the Vice Foreign Minister of Egypt and later Secretary General of the United Nations, Boutros Boutros-Ghali.

The bibliography of the book says he was interviewed in Cairo in 1992.

Sidqi was quoted in a 1998 Washington Post op-ed as calling Israel “the Zionist-racist entity.”

Sidqi was not an average Palestinian terrorist, but actually a powerful leading member of the organization, which explains why his niece Amira, or “Amy” as she likes to call herself has not been forthcoming about her relationship with her father or her family’s documented involvement with a terrorist organization.

“Amira Dajani, who refuses to tell voters if she subscribes to her father and Uncle’s anti-Semitic activities, also refuses to say whether or not she supports the implementation of Sharia Law in the US,” wrote Jacob Engels in the Central Florida Post.

Amira’s father Taher Dajani, 84, is currently living in Fort Myers, where she is running for office.

On Tuesday, Amira attended the West Charlotte Republican Club at the Lemon Bay Golf Club in Englewood, FL with her husband. At this event, I encountered Amira and questioned her about her father and uncle and their ties to the PLO. I asked Amira about her father’s book, and whether or not she would condemn the PLO.

Unwilling to answer my question, Amira quickly grew hostile, dodged my questions, and asked to have me removed from the Republican event, despite the fact that I myself am a Republican.

“You do not have my permission to record me. It’s a felony,” Amira said when I asked her about her father’s book.

Not only did Amira use her position to threaten me with a legal scare tactic, but Amira’s husband can be seen on camera shoving his hand in my face and in the lens on my camera in an attempt to silence me and obstruct the camera view.

In Florida, it is not a felony to record another person, especially a political candidate in public.

Here are some guidelines on recording in Florida:

In short, Florida requires “two party consent” when recording someone. That means the speaker or subject needs to consent to the person recording.  Otherwise, it cannot be used in trial and, perhaps more importantly, it is a crime. However, these are guidelines that are used with regards to secret recording or recored phone calls, not hand held recording devices that are visible to the person being recorded.

The application of the Florida statute also depends on the circumstances of the situation.

The general rule is that, for a recorded statement to be “protected” by the statute, (a) the speaker must have an actual expectation of privacy and (b) society must recognize that the speaker’s expectation is reasonable.  Location, the type of communications, and the manner in which the communication was made are all elements that determine whether or not there is an expectation of privacy.

Given the fact that Amira Dajani has made herself a public figure and an individual of public

Not only should Amira’s direct ties to terrorism be enough to disqualify her from being elected to the position of Sate Attorney in Florida’s 20th Judicial Circuit, but her apparent lack of knowledge pertaining to Florida recording laws also suggests that she is unfit to be State Attorney.

Not only are Amira’s claims that the recording constitutes a felony completely wrong, but it is a form on intimidation in which she exaggerated the law in an attempt to silence, threaten, and intimidate a Conservative journalist who simply asked a question in a polite manner. If elected to State Attorney, how else will Amira try to silence those who challenge her? How else will she abuse her position of power to silence the press and those who shed light on her disturbing family history?

Her opponent, Republican Chris Crowley was recently charged with campaign finance allegations after accepting $600 at a campaign raffle, which he thought was legal.

Crowley claimed that the arrest was politically charged, as he was arrested after exposing Dajani’s radical Islamic ties. Dajani is the top aide to outgoing State’s Attorney, who levied the charges against Crowley after claiming that he received an anonymous tip about the campaign event.

“I’m very concerned about my opponent,” Crowley said in June. “Having a radical anti-Semitic, anti-Israel book dedicated to her. What I’m asking the members of the press to do today, and I’ve asked these questions myself, but they haven’t been answered: Does Ms. Fox agree with this book? If she agrees with what’s in his book, she needs to say so.”

“Fox,” otherwise known as Dajani, has not issued a statement to distance herself form her father’s anti-Jewish book which is dedicated to her. If she does not support the PLO like her father and uncle, it would be as simple as saying so, or answering my question.

However, it is clear that Amira is running from the truth and is doing everything in her power to avoid addressing the elephant in the room, which begs the question, what else is she hiding?

The circuit covers Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties.

There are no Democrats running for the position of state attorney in Fort Myers, which means that the winner of the Republican primary will become state attorney after Florida voters head to to the polls for the Florida primary on August 28. The voters of Florida must now decide whether or not they can afford to vote for a terror tied candidate who has refused to condemn the PLO and has expressed hostility towards a Jewish Conservative journalist.
