YOU POOR BABY: Waukesha Parade Suspect Complains of Being “Demonized” After Vicious Ramming Attack

By Richard Moorhead

Charged Waukesha parade attack suspect Darrell Brooks complained about the way that the media and public is viewing him in his first public remarks after being arrested for the ramming attack that killed six people, speaking in a jailhouse video interview with Fox News.

I just feel like I’m being monster – demonized,” Brooks told a Fox journalist. Brooks also mentioned being “dehumanized” after the attack. Fox describes the video interview as quickly ending, with Brooks getting up from the conference camera, sobbing, and returning to his cell after being told that his mother had released a statement accusing the Wisconsin justice system of failing her son, citing his mental health.

Brooks declined to speak of the circumstances and motives behind the attack in the interview, which ended after a few minutes.

Brooks faces six charges of first-degree intentional homicide, all of which are punishable by a life sentence. Wisconsin has no death penalty. A judge set Brooks’ bond at $5 million, citing the extraordinary nature of his crimes. Both prosecutors and a judge have cited overwhelming evidence citing Brooks’ responsibility for the attack, which Brooks hasn’t denied guilt for.

Brooks is a career criminal with a bevvy of violent convictions, including sex crimes in Nevada. Brooks was already out on jail for other criminal offenses when he was arrested for the Waukesha attack. Brooks had incited violence against white people on social media, in addition to speaking openly of his antisemitic and black nationalist views.

Perhaps if Mr. Brooks didn’t want to be demonized by the public, he should’ve refrained from acting like an actual demon in plowing over grandmothers and children who had gathered to celebrate the Christmas spirit.

The establishment media have largely ignored reporting on Brooks and his political affiliations, ignoring a story some liberals see as inconvenient to their favored narratives.
