Biden’s America? Starbucks CEO Says Crime Is Forcing Mass Store Closings

By Darian Douraghy

Are the consequences of woke ideology now catching up to corporations that push it? American businesses are feeling pains across the country amidst record high-crime levels. It is not just small companies — a newly leaked internal meeting from coffee giant Starbucks revealed it would close sixteen stores across the country as a direct result of increased time. That is not all — CEO Howard Schultz promised that this is just the beginning.

Footage from the Tuesday internal meeting was shared by The Post Millennial on Wednesday. Schultz can be seen speaking in detail as to why so many of his company’s coffee shops are closing their doors for good.

The Starbucks CEO alleged that many parts of the United States have become “unsafe,” prompting their decision to even close stores he claims “are not unprofitable.”

“In my view,” Schultz alleged, “at the local, state, and federal level, these governments across the country and leaders … have abdicated their responsibility in fighting crime and addressing mental illness.”

Opinions expressed by Schultz regarding American politicians ditching their obligation to protect constituents are widely shared by the American public — a recent BLP piece revealed that “only 30% of likely American voters gave Biden a good or excellent rating for the way his administration has tackled crime and law enforcement matters.” Other data points substantiate this: some polls have claimed that a whopping 86% of Americans believe violent crime will be a key issue in the 2022 midterms.

Schultz suggested that the company will have to modify its current operations to fit in with “a very changing operating environment in which customer behavior is changing.”

The CEO concluded, saying, “the demand for Starbucks coffee … domestically and around the world has never been greater,” in spite of all of the company’s recent challenges.

Locations set to shut their doors down include five in Seattle, one in Everett, six in the Los Angeles area, and two in Portland, Oregon, as well as two in Philadelphia and Washington, DC, respectively.
