In a statement released on January 27, 2020, The American Association for Public Opinion Research urged pundits and journalists not to rush to judgement on the aftermath of the Iowa Democratic caucuses.

This looks like an attempt to pre-emptively dismiss Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders’ expected victory in the 2020 Iowa Democrat Caucuses.
“The Democratic caucuses are not ‘just like’ a primary election. The results of the caucuses are more complex than a simple vote count,” said Nora Cate Schaeffer, the president of AAPOR.
“Judging how well the pre-caucus polls of Iowa Democrats have performed must wait until the final caucus results are in,” Schaeffer stated.
The political establishment is clearly in the tank for former Vice President Joe Biden.
Sanders has been leading in the Iowa polls and is expected to come out victorious by the end of Monday night.
If the Democrat party truly lived up to its name, it would respect the will of its voters and not use the media to craft misleading narratives that favor its pet candidates such as Biden.
Nevertheless, Bernie Sanders’ surge represents a growing radicalization within the Democratic Party that will likely not go away.
From law-abiding gun ownership to basic economic freedoms, a potential Sanders presidency would accelerate America’s descent into a veritable road to serfdom.
For 2020, Trump is the only presidential option that can at least be a stop-gap against the managerial state.
