More Than 40% Of Californians Have Considered Fleeing The State Over High Costs, Bad Policies, And Misaligned Politics

By Bo Banks

Over 40% of Californians are considering fleeing their leftist utopia.

According to the Los Angeles Times, nearly half of California residents are saying they’re considering a move “very seriously.” With 61% attributing high cost of living as part of their consideration.

People of color are far more likely to say that the expense of living in California is the reason they might leave. About 71% of residents who are either Black or Asian/Pacific Islander and considering relocating cited the cost of living.

The California Community Poll that the LA Times is referring to also found that nearly a third of residents “said they might leave because the state’s policies and laws don’t align with their political views.”

This California exodus is not new, however. It’s been an ongoing trend for the past three years. Other leftist states have similarly seen people flee for more freedom loving ones like Florida since 2020.

The reasons for why Americans are ditching California because of its misaligned political views is virtually endless. Especially in regards to the state interjecting itself between parents and their children under the guise of LGBTQ inclusion.

For example, the state is considering legislation that would make it a misdemeanor crime, punishable with up to one year in jail, to criticize teachers who are pushing transgender indoctrination upon children in schools.

Leaving parents, who understandably don’t want these topics forced onto their children, having to defend themselves for pushing back against the transgender ideology in the classroom – which is everywhere.

Going further, California Democrat Congresswoman Katie Porter has even claimed that pedophilia is not a crime but rather an “identity.” This is the direction the state is headed – talk about progress!

In another example of California’s bad policy, the state is planning to cut all sales of gas vehicles by 2035, which will destroy independent gas station businesses.

When it comes to rising crime, the state is flirting with “zero cash bail” policies that will not keep streets safer. Just amplify the probability for law-abiding taxpayers to have a run in with a repeat offender.

The only thing crazy about more than 40% of California’s considering an out-of-state move is that the figure isn’t higher.

According to the poll, 70% of residents somehow said that they are happy living in California. Even with all the left-wing nonsense that will only get worse in the coming years.
