Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is planning to reject the COVID-19 vaccine, even after Big Pharma inevitably claims that it will be safe for public consumption.
Musk is catching fire from the liberal elite after telling the New York Times that he is “not at risk for COVID, nor are my kids.”
“I think the reality of COVID is that it is dangerous if you’re elderly and have pre-existing conditions,” he said to the Times in July. “It absolutely makes sense to have a lockdown if you’re vulnerable, but I do not think it makes sense to have a lockdown if you’re not vulnerable.”
Musk has emerged as a prominent opponent of COVID-19 mass hysteria throughout the pandemic:
Big League Politics has reported on the surprising transformation of Musk throughout the Trump era, in which the environmentally-minded futurist has re-invented himself as a populist critic of political correctness and extreme leftism:
As of this afternoon, the universally loathed and distrusted mainstream media has another high profile critic.
“The holier-than-thou hypocrisy of big media companies who lay claim to the truth, but publish only enough to sugarcoat the lie, is why the public no longer respects them,” Musk tweeted…
He went further, blaming the press for stoking the fire that led to the election of President Donald J. Trump.
“Anytime anyone criticizes the media, the media shrieks “You’re just like Trump!,” he said. “Why do you think he got elected in the first place? Because no ones believes you any more. You lost your credibility a long time ago.” …
Musk was replying to a tweet from Andrew J. Hawkins, a writer at The Verge, which is owned by anti-Trump rag Vox.
He then floated the idea of launching a media credibility site…
“Going to create a site where the public can rate the core truth of any article & track the credibility score over time of each journalist, editor & publication,” he said. “Thinking of calling it Pravda…”
Musk may just be crazy enough to do it. He ran a Twitter poll asking his followers if they thought his site would be a good idea. After nearly 280,000 votes, 87% of voters are in favor of the plan…
“If you’re in media & don’t want Pravda to exist, write an article telling your readers to vote against it…” he wrote, referring to his poll.
Most likely, such a site would end up having little value, as ratings would be based on subjective opinions of news consumers. The political left will down vote the political right, and vice versa.
With that said, we admire Musk’s strong blow to the mainstream press.
Whether Musk’s newfound embrace of populism is an act or is authentic, he certainly knows which way the wind is blowing. The public is sick of the status quo and responds positively to powerful individuals who push back against it.
