Actress and model Bella Thorne is releasing a poetry book that delves into her experience getting routinely molested as a child actor and model. Thorne said she was molested constantly until the age of fourteen.
Thorne starred on the Disney show Shake It Up beginning in 2010. Now 21, her book The Life of a Wannabe Mogul is being released this month.
“I don’t know, I was still being molested when paparazzi were still fucking following me. So it’s pretty hard in my mind to think about these big, flash light photographs and everyone thinking they know me and talking about me, but having no idea the type of mistreatment that I was still dealing with at that time – that everyone around me saw and did nothing,” Bella Thorne stated.

I was sexually abused and physically growing up from the day I can remember till I was 14..when I finally had the courage to lock my door at night and sit by it. All damn night. Waiting for someone to take advantage of my life again. Over and over I waited for it to stop and finally it did. But some of us aren't as lucky to get out alive. Please today stand up for every soul Mistreated. #timesup
