Afghan Evacuees Arriving in Germany Previously Deported for ‘Serious Crimes’

German authorities have detained seven Afghan nationals evacuated from Kabul to the country, Interior Minister Horst Seehofer revealed over the weekend.

“Three had forged documents with them and four had already been deported from Germany to Afghanistan as criminals. These were serious crimes,” Seehofer said. Germany has finished making evacuation flights from the Kabul Airport, having moved less than 5,000 Afghan nationals from the country to Rammstein Air Force Base.

Germany has only accepted a small portion of the Afghans who have sought to flee the country in the wake of its capitulation to the Taliban. It’s likely that an even greater proportion of the more than 100,000 Afghans evacuated with the premise of eventual United States residency have criminal or terrorist evacuations. Less than 12 percent of the Afghan evacuees airlifted from the Kabul are United States citizens or recipients of Special Immigrant Visas reserved for those confirmed as cooperators with American military.

As many as 100 Afghans have been flagged as members of American terrorist watchlists, with one Afghan detained in Qatar for his affiliation with ISIS-Khorasan, the terrorist organization responsible for the deadly suicide bombing at the Kabul Airport that killed 13 service members.

Afghanistan has long been a source of illegal immigration to the west, with the nation’s government unable to provide stability and economic prosperity for its people.

Establishment western media has broadly declined to scrutinize the criteria(or absence of screening) used in providing immigration privileges to Afghan nationals in the wake of the nation’s capitulation to the Taliban, asserting that the more than 100,000 Afghans leaving the country qualify as political refugees, despite evidence suggesting only a small minority of evacuees qualify as such.
