Andy Biggs Believes Gun Grabbers in the United States House Will Go After Ammo and Ammo Manufacturers

In an interview with AWR Hawkins of Breitbart News, Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs recently said that Second Amendment advocates should expect to see the gun control crowd “go after ammunition and ammunition manufacturers.”

Biggs called attention to several gun control bills that have passed the House, which is Democrat-controlled. While none of these bills have been passed in the Senate, Biggs is of the view that the House will pass additional gun control.

He went into further detail: “I expect some additional gun control legislation to come out of the House. I expect there will be an attempt to do an ‘assault weapons’ ban, I think they’re going to continue to try to eliminate liability protections on gun manufacturers, and I think they’re also going to go after ammunition and ammunition manufacturers.”

Biggs would also talk about gun control in the Senate, noting that “When gun control reared its head again, after Uvalde, I expected 20 members of Senate Republicans to cave and give things like red flag laws and whatever else that the House is pushing. But I’m sure what, if anything, is going to get out now, because it has taken so long and they have no language.”

The Arizona congressman continued, “When you have no language to look at, they start working off what is called a framework, and that leads to infighting where some Senators want certain things but not other things, and that indicates a lack a consensus.”

In Biggs’ view, the longer the Senate mulls over this legislation, the less of a chance that the Senate will come to an agreement.

The Arizona Congressman called attention to how Texas Senator John Cornyn was booed on June 17 at the Texas Republican Convention. He declared, “That response indicates that gun owners are not really pleased with the Republicans that are undermining the Second Amendment.”

Biggs mentioned the creation of a new pro-gun group, the Arizona Second Amendment Coalition, of which he had a hand in forming.

This coalition is comprised of elected officials, individuals working in the firearm industry, student activists, and other pro-Second Amendment organizations.

Biggs stated, “We’re trying to make it a broad-based coalition where we talk about challenges to the exercise of Second Amendment rights. Whether that is an ATF challenge, something the Biden administration is doing, or what policies–local, state, and federal–that may either positively or negatively impact the Second Amendment.”

The Arizona Congressman continued, “You don’t want to look like that. You don’t want to look like Venezuela. You want to be a free American and the way to be free and reduce crime is to allow people to carry guns.”

Biggs is one of the strongest America First leaders in Congress. He comprehends the gravity of the current Second Amendment situation in the country and will not be so easily beaten into submission by Gun Control Inc.

Since the gun controllers can’t get outright gun bans, they’re settling for more underhanded forms of gun control such as bankrupting gun and ammo manufacturers through lawsuits and making it more difficult for gun stores to stay in business. One way or the other, these schemes are designed to limit the amount of firearms available in the white market, thus depriving millions of Americans of legitimate defense options.

The Arizona Congressman will undoubtedly be playing a crucial role in preserving the Second Amendment and other time-honored freedoms in the years to come.
