AOC: Corporations Force People To Give Birth To Maintain A Large Workforce

You have to hand it to them, Democrats know how to spin a story.

In case you missed it, radical pro-abortionist AOC tried to make the argument that corporations are on the side of pro-lifers.

You know, the same organizations that are literally paying their employees to get abortions.

AOC claimed that corporations want Americans to have babies – which is the total opposite of reality – all because they want a bigger workforce.

In other words, AOC “believes” companies like Amazon and Bank of America want women to be baby factories so that they can employ the next generation. You really can’t script this stuff anymore…

Per AOC: “Abortion is an economic issue. Forcing poor and working class people to give birth against their will, against their consent, against their ability to provide for themselves or a child…”

“It’s certainly a way to keep a workforce conscripted,” she added. “Basically, to a large scale employers and employers to work more against their will. To take second and third jobs against their own desire and against their own autonomy.”

“And so the idea that abortion and access to abortion is not somehow a profound and central economic and class issue and class struggle is certainly something that I think a person who’s never had to contend with the ability to carry a child, you know, it belies that perspective,” she continued.

AOC is, of course, wrong. And her argument is a weird attempt to promote more abortions. As Jesse Kelly put it: “It’s wild how often communists come to the conclusion that the root of the problem is too many people being alive.”

“Corporations gladly pay for their employees abortions so they can keep working, but fight against paying for maternity leave so moms can have time with their newborn babies,” Woke Distance chimed.

“Now ask yourself, who’s siding with families, and who’s siding with corporations and the almighty dollar?” he added.

For more insight into just how many corporations are paying for women to get abortions, check out this incomplete list from CBS News.

Here’s a snapshot of the company names from the article: Amazon, Bank of America, Bumble, Buzzfeed, Cigna, Citigroup, CNN, Comcast, CVS, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Estee Lauder, Goldman Sachs, HP, Ikea, JPMorgan Chase, Kroger, New York Times, Lyft, MasterCard, Meta, Microsoft, Paramount, Patagonia, PayPal, Procter & Gamble, Salesforce, Starbucks, Target, Tesla, Uber, Disney, Yelp, Yahoo, and Zillow.

AOC couldn’t care less about reality. It’s all about optics, virtue signaling, and the Democrat narrative. Scary thing is some people actually buy into this rhetoric.
