Arizona Gov. Bans Abortions Post 15 Weeks And “Transing” The Kids
Arizonan abortionists are in for a bad day! Arizona’s Governor Doug Ducey signed numerous pieces of legislation Wednesday, including perhaps most notably a ban on abortions after 15 weeks of gestation. The Arizona governor additionally signed a new law prohibiting so-called “gender reassignment surgery” from being performed on children who are under 18 years of age.

Ducey’s anti-late-term abortion legislation, S.B. 1164, bans the ending of a human life past 15 weeks gestation, barring the exception of a medical emergency.
“In Arizona, we know there is immeasurable value in every life – including preborn life,” said Governor Ducey in a letter about the bill. “I believe it is each state’s responsibility to protect them.”
Ducey’s press release noted that the bill seeks to only persecute the performer of the abortion; a potential mother who receives one would face no consequences under S.B. 1164.
The Arizona governor also addressed his bills aimed at affirming the existence of gender.
“Today I signed S.B. 1138 and S.B. 1165, legislation to protect participation and fairness for female athletes, and to ensure that individuals undergoing irreversible gender reassignment surgery are of adult age. This legislation is common-sense and narrowly-targeted to address these two specific issues — while ensuring that transgender individuals continue to receive the same dignity, respect and kindness as every individual in our society,” Governor Ducey wrote in a letter explaining his support for the legislation.
“S.B. 1138 delays any irreversible gender reassignment surgery until the age of 18,” Governor Ducey said in the letter. “The reason is simple, and common sense – this is a decision that will dramatically affect the rest of an individual’s life, including the ability of that individual to become a biological parent later in life.”
Governor Ducey’s press release also states that physicians will also be empowered to provide treatment and support to the various diseases, disorders, and other ailments that previous recipients of “gender transition procedures” tragically develop as a consequence of the medically-induced mutilation.
Ducey has made headlines at Big League Politics in the past, notably attracting attention this past August after he joined forces with Georgia State House Speaker Rusty Bowers to urge Afghan refugees to flood into the state of Arizona.
“They helped our fight to defeat terrorist organizations and defend human rights, and now their lives are in danger,” the two wrote at the time, later adding, “we welcome them to our state full of opportunity and choice, and we’re working closely with federal and state officials to offer them safety in Arizona.”
