Associated Press Study Shows How COVID-19 is Strengthening the Permanent Surveillance State
A study from the Associated Press (AP) has confirmed that the COVID-19 pandemic and the heavy-handed response by public officials to its outbreak have permanently bolstered the Big Brother surveillance state on a worldwide basis.
An @AP investigation has found that COVID-19 accelerated and normalized state surveillance and tracking tools that are now being used to investigate crime and harass marginalized communities. https://t.co/HGFpaPXQKT pic.twitter.com/LHwucDLGvQ

The AP found in their study that authorities have regularly used COVID as an excuse to “halt travel for activists and ordinary people, harass marginalized communities and link people’s health information to other surveillance and law enforcement tools.”
“Any intervention that increases state power to monitor individuals has a long tail and is a ratcheting system,” John Scott-Railton, a researcher for Citizen Lab, told the AP. “Once you get it, is very unlikely it will ever go away.”
The world leader in Draconian pandemic response is China, who has implemented brutal lockdown measures that continue to this day. Other nations, particularly in the West, are rapidly following in China’s repressive footsteps as the world falls to digital totalitarianism.
Big League Politics has reported on how COVID was created and released upon mankind in order to usher in a new age of Orwellian technocracy that is inescapable for every individual:
“The late plutocrat and engineer of globalism David Rockefeller once said at a United Nations dinner: “All we need is the right crisis and the people will accept the New World Order.”
With COVID-19, it seems that the right crisis has finally arrived to usher in the new era of globalism. The mass media is already priming the public for the new permanent changes to society that are all but inevitable at this point.
