Attempted Assassin of New York Republican Governor Candidate Lee Zeldin is Freed Awaiting Trial
Congressman Lee Zeldin (R-NY), who is currently the Republican nominee for governor of New York in this year’s midterm elections, was attacked by an attempted assassin on Thursday.
One day later, his attacker is free thanks to the criminal justice reform policies supported by the Radical Left.
David Jakubonis, 43, has been charged with second-degree attempted assault for the attack on Zeldin. He was released on his own recognizance due to lax bail requirements.
Zeldin predicted that this would happen before his wannabe assassin was freed. He made it clear that the assassin was out to take his life, saying “you’re done” as he lunged at Zeldin and attacked him.
His words as he tried to stab me a few hours ago were “you’re done”, but several attendees, including @EspositoforNY, quickly jumped into action & tackled the guy.
Law enforcement was on the scene within minutes.

Big League Politics has reported on how New York is spiraling out of control due to the war on the rule of law by the radical leftist Democrats in power:
“Since 2019, New York City has experienced a considerable growth in crime.
The Daily Mail reported that major crimes rose by 22.5 percent in February according to NYPD data. This was accompanied by a 7.1 percent increase in shootings, robbery, assault, burglary, grand larceny, and grand larceny auto crimes.
