BDSM “Fetish Fitness” Is A Real Thing Taught By Mistress Liger

Published

on

A new risqué fitness class made its appearance in High Point, North Carolina in the beginning of January.

“Felyne Fetish Fitness” is a kink and BDSM-infused workout class. Lead by its instructor, Candace Liger (known as “Coach Felyne”), the class is meant to bring exercise and erotica together.

The coach describes the class, “A lot of fitness clients are out of touch with their bodies. They have no understanding of how pleasure operated in their body or how to conjure pleasure for themselves. Fitness and kink are both part of the self-care category,” according to Triad City Beat.

However, this fitness class in High Point, NC was not the first time Coach Felyne hosted a kink-infused class. Hosting multiple “JahRation Dance” classes and “Erotic Liberation” classes around North Carolina, “Mistress” Liger seeks to “allow(s) you to experience exercise domination to help push you towards your better health and pleasure.”

According to the Triad City Beat, “Liger started out in the kink world after she took a vow of celibacy. She had gone through a number of unsatisfying relationships and decided to take sex out of the equation.” So, her alternative to sexual relations is getting involved with BDSM? Something isn’t adding up.

These 90 minute workout classes are aimed at providing “education and tools… to encourage healthier decisions long after the spankings stop,” according to Evensi.

Creeping its way into becoming mainstream society, BDSM classes are coming to Durham, North Carolina on February 8. The “Black Kink: BDSM 101 & Radical Consent Workshop” will be hosted at The Pinehook. Interestingly, the event claims to be “open” and “inclusive”, but only to those listed in the description.

“…centers people of color, non-binary, LGBTQIA, and differently-abled folx.”

Whatever “differently-abled folx” is? There seems to be no welcoming invite of white or straight individuals to these classes and workshops. This movement, that has over 3,000 likes on Facebook, is becoming a normalized movement in North Carolina. These radical postmodern ideas have worked their way into everyday life with extreme movements like this.

Interestingly, Coach Felyne is also a social justice warrior, raising money for “Project Blackbird”.  According to its Facebook page, the movement seeks to pay bail for those who can’t afford it:

“We advocate for black folks who’ve been jailed due to inability to afford bail, unfair sentencing practices, and the stories that define the need for criminal justice reform across Oklahoma and the nation. Within our work, we highlight storytelling as a medium to humanize the people who are most impacted by mass incarceration”

The movement only helps “black folks”? Seems a little one-sided. Does this movement pay bail for anyone simply because they are “black folks”?

It seems “Coach Felyne” is only interested in helping out non-white, LGBT, non-binary clients fulfill their need for BDSM training. To each their own, but the popularity of such ‘progressive’ exercise is truly a sign of the times.

UPDATE 2/4/19:

After this article was first run on First in Freedom Daily, I reached out to Coach Felyne after she (amongst her supporters – who left some abhorrent comments and private messages) commented quite a lengthy response on my personal Facebook page.

After offering up her email for further research – the teacher has yet to return my 4-day-old inquiry on if she would consider a “white-only” class like hers to be racist, or why I “likely wouldn’t enjoy” her JahRation Nation Zumba-like class.

Hopefully Coach Liger will respond soon on why she condones hateful comments from her supporters and will acknowledge that she is furthering the racial divide by not allowing white people to attend certain classes.

One of the most endangered animals in the United States has been observed in a national park that is part of its historical range. The National Park and U.S. Fish and Wildlife services confirmed in a joint statement that six California Condors have been seeing flying above the Sequoia National Park in Eastern California.

The birds were also photographed by park personnel.

A biologist of the Santa Barbara Zoo confirmed that specimens being GPS-tracked by the zoo had been geolocated in the national park.

We use GPS transmitters to track the birds’ movement, which can be over hundreds of miles on a single day,” said Dave Meyer. “On this particular day we documented the birds’ signals around Giant Forest, and we are excited that park employees observed the birds and confirmed their use of this important historic habitat.

The Sequoia National Park consists of more then 400,000 acres in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. The rare vultures, which feed upon carrion, had once been known to nest in the great Sequoia trees of the park, before disappearing from the habitat around the 1970’s.

The California Condor is a New World vulture, and an exceptionally large bird, the largest native to North America. It range once broadly consisted of the entire western United States, spanning from Canada to Baja California in Mexico.

It had been declared to be extinct in the wild in 1987, but a preservation program to save the species has proved successful in reintroducing captive individuals to the wild in northern Arizona and Utah. Poaching, habitat destruction, and poisoning from manmade chemicals have severely eroded the population of the birds in the wild, and it’s currently listed as critically endangered. Preservation efforts have increased the wild population of the California Condor from merely 22 animals to more than 400 today.
