Biden Regime Releases Alarming Report About Crisis at the Southern Border

In a news dump the Biden regime released on January 26, 2024, the Southwest Land Border Encounters report revealed that close to 250,000 migrants were apprehended by Border Patrol agents in December.
This report showed that 249,785 migrants illegally crossed the southwest border in December between ports of entry.
This figure represents a 12% increase from the 220,018 migrants apprehended in 2022 in that same timeframe.
This December report puts the total at the southwest border for the first quarter for Fiscal Year to close to 630,000 migrant encounters. Over half of these encounters — 325,739 — fell under the category of single adults. The rest were family units — 268,818 — and unaccompanied minors — 35,118.
“CBP has taken significant steps to surge personnel and resources to impacted areas and address challenges we are experiencing across the southwest border,” CBP officials declared in a written statement published in the afternoon of January 26. “Encounter numbers continue to fluctuate, as smugglers and bad actors continue to spread falsehoods and show complete disregard for the safety and well-being of vulnerable migrants.”
The Tucson and Del Rio Sectors made up over 150,000 of the nearly 250,000 migrant apprehensions made by Border Patrol agents in December.
The Del Rio Sector apparently recorded 71,095 migrant apprehensions in December, while the San Diego Sector experienced 34,372 migrant encounters.
The Tucson and Del Rio Sectors constituted over 352,000 of the close to 630,000 southwest land border encounters in Fiscal Year 2024, which kicked off September 1, 2023.
Bob Price of Breitbart News reported that over half of the reported encounters “were migrants from countries other than Mexico and the Northern Triangle countries of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador”, with “Venezuelan migrants accounted for nearly 100,000.”
The southern border has totally collapsed under the Biden regime’s watch. And it’s by design.
We must remember that the Biden regime is trying to “Elect a New People” by importing a ton of migrants who they and their descendants will invariably vote for the Democrat Party. On top of that, this migrant deluge will be a wet dream for the donor classes to both Republicans and Democrats who are addicted to cheap labor.
