Biden Team to Supporters: “Campaign Like We’re Trailing”

Joe Biden’s campaign is instructing their volunteers and supporters to not “become complacent” and to “campaign like we’re trailing” because the race is a dead heat, per The Hill.

Campaign manager Jen O’Malley wrote a memo that The Hill obtained Saturday.

“While we see robust leads at the national level, in the states we’re counting on to carry us to victory like Arizona and North Carolina we’re only up by three points. We also know that even the best polling can be wrong, and that variables like turnout mean that in a number of critical states we are functionally tied — and that we need to campaign like we’re trailing,” O’Malley said.

“We cannot become complacent because the very searing truth is that Donald Trump can still win this race, and every indication we have shows that this thing is going to come down to the wire.”

This is an intriguing revelation, for it might indicate that the Biden campaign has internal poll numbers which tell a completely different story than the one the mainstream media tells. Mainstream outlets have recently cited polls that show Biden up by double digits, though one would be wise not to fall for them, given that Hillary Clinton also had double-digit leads in major polls as late as the final days of October 2016.

I predict that you will see the polls narrow as Election Day gets closer, just as they did four years ago. Pollsters and media lackeys may very well have been trying to once again demoralize Trump supporters into thinking it’s over. Many polls oversample Democrats or change their variables to suit a desired outcome.

It’s going to be a wild Election Day. Buckle up.
