Bill Gates Spent ‘Millions’ On ‘Dark Money Fund’ To Attack Elon Musk

BREAKING NEWS – According to research from the Foundation for Freedom Online (FFO) that was exclusively shared with Breitbart News, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation spent hundreds of millions of dollars to fund attacks against Elon Musk.

Per the research and analysis, Gates sent “dark money” to “11 of the 26 organizations that signed an open letter last month urging Twitter advertisers to boycott the company if Elon Musk restores free speech on the platform.”

The following are the 11 anti-Musk organizations that have received funding from the Bill Gates’ foundation:

The New Venture Fund, which consists of The Center for Media Justice, The Media Democracy Fund, The National Hispanic Media Coalition (via the Media Democracy Fund), and Accountable Tech.

The Tides Foundation, which consists of Free Press, Indivisible, NARAL Pro-Choice America, Media Matters, and the Black Lives Matter Global Network.

Gates’ dark money is also reportedly being poured into two other signatories; Empowering Pacific Islanders Community and Reproaction.

The fact that this open letter has been connected to Gates should not come as a major surprise. Considering the billionaire Microsoft founder has been caught up in a public feud with Musk over topics like the spread of misinformation online.

Just last month, Gates revealed he spent $500 million on a short position against Tesla.

Perhaps most notably, Musk has routinely considered himself to be a “free-speech absolutist,” while Gates on the other hand has been a big advocate for censorship policies. In a larger attempt to stop the spread of “health misinformation” online.

Musk poses a grave threat to Gates’ mission. And the Tesla owner knows that.

Just recently, Musk called on his Twitter followers to help him uncover who was behind the 26 NGOs that signed the open letter threatening to destroy the company’s advertising revenue if the its censorship policies were to be reversed or altered.

Thanks to investigations by the Free Beacon and Philanthropy watchdog Sludge, it’s been discovered that many of these Gates-backed organizations have been used as a “pass-through payoff” funnel for various surrogates like the Joe Biden 2020 presidential election campaign. Rather than for “charity” purposes as self-described.

“So much for ending AIDS, world hunger, and disease — by the numbers, the Gates Foundation’s top priority seems to be electing Democrats,” Breitbart reported.

“Bill Gates is funding a veritable NGO army — and it is zeroing in on Elon Musk,” the outlet continued.

This latest story shows just how important Twitter is for elites like Bill Gates. And it provides Americans with a better understanding of why the potential purchase of the platform by Musk could be damaging to their control over public discourse in the country.

Fortunately, Musk recognizes the uphill battle ahead of him.

“The attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens,” he said in a Tweet on May 19. “Nothing will deter me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech.”
