Border Patrol Begs for Help As the Southern Border Gets Overwhelmed by Illegal Alien Invaders

On December 22, 2023, United States Customs and Border Protection announced that it had recorded over 240,000 encounters at the southwest land border in the month of November.
In this announcement, CBP declared that its units stationed along the Mexican border need additional support from Congress.
In sum, CBP reported 242,418 migrant invaders arriving at the southern border in November, which includes 191,113 between ports of entry.
The CBP processed 43,000 individuals at ports of entry using the CBP One app.
“CBP continues to execute its important mission to protect the American people, safeguard our borders, and enhance the nation’s economic prosperity by implementing operational plans, surging personnel and decompressing areas along the southwest border while processing and vetting migrants who are encountered humanely, safely, and efficiently, consistent with our laws,” stated Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Commissioner Troy A. Miller.
“We are facing a serious challenge along the southwest border and CBP and our federal partners need more resources from Congress — as outlined in the supplemental budget request — to enhance border security and America’s national security,” Miller added. “Despite ongoing challenges, in November, the men and women of CBP continued their tireless work and recorded increased seizures of illegal narcotics while facilitating lawful trade and increased holiday travel.”
CBP’s November update also revealed an increase in drug trafficking at the southern border, noting that drug seizures grew by 35% from October. Methamphetamine confiscation climbed upward by 55%, heroin seizures increased by 7%, and fentanyl seizures increased by 8%.
As people who have to deal firsthand with the consequences of mass migration, Border Patrol should be listened to here with great intent. They’re witnessing a nightmare that’s about to pounce on the rest of the nation.
This is just another reason why we must completely shut down the border.
