Embattled Nashville Mayor Megan Barry (D-TN) is expected to resign this morning, according to a report by The Tennessean.

Barry has admitted to having an affair with her bodyguard, Nashville Metro Police Sgt. Robert Forrest.

Vice Mayor David Briley will fill the vacancy as acting mayor.
