California’s Governor Gavin Newsom Puts Forward “Cradle to Career” System That Will Spy On Every Facet of Citizens’ Lives

After going on a trip to China, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced the next phase of California’s “Cradle to Career” system. This  system uses over one billion data points.

Newsom stated that this data system would do the following:

By leveraging billions of data points, California’s Cradle-to-Career data system will be a game-changer for improving the quality of life for millions of Californians and highlighting ways to improve opportunity in the classroom and access to the workforce.

Young individuals, especially young professionals, will be targeted by this system.

The system is built to “illuminate gaps and identify opportunities throughout students’ education experiences so they can ultimately reach their goals for life and careers” via data that features “race, gender, ability, and geography to illuminate and address areas of strength and needed growth, and any inequities.”

“This milestone represents a significant step forward in our mission to establish a robust, comprehensive data system that provides a nuanced understanding of Californians’ educational and professional journeys,” declared Mary Ann Bates, Executive Director of the California Cradle-to-Career Data System. “I want to thank our data partners for their unwavering commitment to ensuring that Californians will have validated, reliable data available to inform decisions. This collective effort will equip our state with the data and tools necessary to ensure that every Californian has the opportunity to succeed.”

The system is meant to be used by families, policymakers, politicians, researchers, and students, whose information will be used by the state government.

Initially, $10 million was allocated to “Cradle to Career” in the 2019-2020 fiscal year with an additional $14.5 million in the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

This program has been likened to the Chinese social credit system, which many of America’s ruling class wants to emulate. It will likely be used to keep tabs on people and make sure that they stay in line, lest they want to be deprived of basic services. California is the laboratory for all of America’s tyrannical experiments. What takes place there will likely be replicated nationwide. Hence the importance of keeping tabs on the political lunacy that’s taking place in the Golden State.
