Christian Dad in Trump 2020 Shirt Delivers His Baby Girl in Chick-Fil-A

A man and his wife unexpectedly brought their newborn into the world at a Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Texas on Tuesday night.

“Maggie and I loaded up the car last night to go to the hospital for delivery, and we were dropping off our daughters with a friend who was meeting us at Chick-Fil-A to pick them up,” Robert Griffin wrote on his Facebook page. “By the time we got to the restaurant , Maggie was in active labor and said she REALLY had to go to the bathroom. But it was after 10pm and Chick-Fil-A was closed. After banging on the glass, the staff answered the door and let Maggie in. I loaded the kids into our friends car, kissed them goodnight, and went in to find Maggie.”

Before the couple could leave the restaurant and head to San Antonio’s University Hospital, Griffin’s wife Maggie went into full labor.

“The manager said ‘she’s in the restroom and she’s screaming,’ Griffin said. “So there we were…..my wife and I in a tiny stall in the bathroom, and I could see the top of our little girls head crowning as Maggie was straddling the toilet. I told Maggie, ‘sweetie, we are gonna have to do this right here, right now.”

Shortly thereafter, the paramedics arrived to help the Griffin’s finish the delivery.

“I thinks [sic] it’s pretty ironic that a proud conservative, Christian family would have a baby in a Chick-Fil-A, and wrapped in a Trump 2020 T-shirt!” Griffin said.

The restaurant manager not only opened the doors for the couple after hours, but brought clean towels and called 911 while Griffin delivered his daughter. The locally owned franchisee took it a step further, offering baby Gracelyn Mae free Chick-Fil-A nuggets for life.
