CIA Official Posts Pro-Palestine Image On Her Facebook Page

A key CIA official posted a pro-Palestine image on Facebook two weeks following Hamas’ attack on Israel, a move that has shown growing dissent within the Biden regime on the question of Israel. On October 21, 2023, the CIA’s associate deputy director for analysis changed her Facebook cover photo to an image of a man waving a Palestinian flag that is frequently used in stories criticizing Israel. This official is unnamed by media outlets out of concern that her safety might be imperiled.
Such a move by a high-ranking intelligence officer is unthinkable but it’s indicative of the political times we live in where the Biden regime has been placing more pressure on Israel to cease the fighting in the Gaza Strip. This has been brought about in large part by the Democratic Party’s base.
In another Facebook post, the senior intelligence official posted a selfie with a sticker that read “Free Palestine” superimposed on the photograph. One individual who knows about the image said it was posted to Facebook years ago and well before the current conflict kicked off. “The officer is a career analyst with extensive background in all aspects of the Middle East and this post [of the Palestinian flag] was not intended to express a position on the conflict,” declared the person who knew about this situation.
This development came as CIA Director Bill Burns visited Qatar for meetings with Mossad chief David Barnea and the prime minister of Qatar, who have been involved in hammering out a deal to release additional hostages that Hamas is holding in Gaza. “Given the role director Burns is playing in the ongoing crisis in Israel, social media activity along these lines by a senior US intelligence officer reflects exceptionally and surprisingly bad judgment,” a third former intelligence official stated.
There’s clearly growing dissent within elements of the Biden regime and the broader liberal Left in the United States with respect to Israel. As Israel has drifted in a hard Right, ethno-religious direction, the Jewish have taken a more illiberal, identitarian character that would make many leftists uncomfortable. Due to the rise of alternative media, which exposes Israel’s malfeasances, and unhinged political leadership in Israel, Israel is beginning to lose prestige on the world stage.
Now, even functionaries in institutions that are supposedly pro-Zionist are begging to take shots at Israel.
At the end of the day, the US should capitalize on this growing backlash against Israel to push for measures that result in ending military aid to it and ultimately doing away with this entangling alliance.
This is one “special relationship” that must be done away with ASAP.
