Clintons Going on Tour, Finally Making a Stop in Michigan

Former President Willam J. Clinton and failed presidential candidate Hillary R. Clinton will embark on a 13-city tour during the end of 2018 and into 2019.

“The Clintons announced Monday they will visit four cities in 2018 and nine in 2019 across North America in a series of conversations dubbed ‘An Evening with President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton,’” according to the Washington Post.

Live Nation, the entertainment company that is producing Michelle Obama’s book tour and has put together tours for Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Beyonce will be producing the Clintons tour. Tickets for the tour will cost up to $700.

The theme of the tour will be “stories and inspiring anecdotes that shaped their historic careers in public service, while also discussing issues of the day and looking toward the future,” according to Live Nation.

Tour stops will include Las Vegas, Toronto, Montreal, Texas, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Detroit and Washington, D.C.

“Attendees will have the opportunity to hear one-of-a-kind conversations with the two leaders as they tell their stories from some of the most impactful moments in modern history. From the American presidency to the halls of the Senate and State Department, to one of the United States’ most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections, they provide a unique perspective on the past, and remarkable insight into where we go from here,” Live Nation said.

The Clintons will finally make a stop in Michigan, a state where President Donald J. Trump won a surprise victory in his 2016 electoral landslide after Clinton neglected to campaign there.
