Congressman Ken Buck Challenges Joe Biden and Beto O’Rourke To Confiscate His AR-15

Colorado Congressman Ken Buck challenged Joe Biden and Beto O’Rourke to enact gun confiscation policies on an AR-15 rifle Buck keeps in his Washington, D.C office, displaying the weapon in a video on his Twitter feed Friday morning.

Anti-gun liberals fumed in the responses of Buck’s video, apparently under the false impression that the American-flag decorated AR was loaded. It’s quite obvious the weapon is intended for display and ceremonial purposes at the congressional office.

Buck has clarified that the rifle has been rendered inoperable, allowing him to receive permission from Capital police to take it into his office. Washington D.C has an assault weapons ban. Thus, the liberals that thought Buck was violating rules of gun safety by removing the weapon from the wall were unaware it’s harmless.

Liberals such as O’Rourke have claimed defiance to planned gun confiscation attempts on their part represent some sort of extremism, while ignoring the reality that actively confiscating legally owned guns from law-abiding Americans is as extreme and anti-constitutional as it gets.

Biden, the Democratic frontrunner, has stated he’s going to rely upon the infamously anti-gun rights O’Rourke to “take care of the gun problem for him.”

O’Rourke was one of the few Democrats to run for President with the stated policy desire of actively confiscating semiautomatic rifles from every American in “mandatory buybacks.” For Biden to actively defer to him on gun policy shows he’d be willing to consider policy on the matter from the extreme liberal fringe of the Democratic Party, outpacing even democratic socialist Bernie Sanders in hostility to gun rights.
