Convicted Child Molester Set to Be Freed From Iowa Prison Following Gender Transition

Convicted child molester Joseph Matthew Smith, 23, is getting let off the hook for his heinous crimes because he “transitioned” to another gender while behind bars.

Iowa officials have announced that Smith will be set free just four years into his sentence. Attorney General spokesman Lynn Hicks claims that “an offender’s hormone levels are an important part of substantiating an offender’s likelihood of recidivism.”

“We don’t believe we have evidence sufficient to prove Josie Smith has a significant chance of reoffending,” Hicks said late last week.

Smith was convicted of molesting up to 15 different children aged from 1 to 13 years of age. While he was being sentenced, a report prepared by state expert Dr. Jeffrey Davis said that there was a high probability of Smith sexually accosting more children.

“Mr. Smith has not had an intimate relationship,” the report says. “His sexual encounters appear to have primarily involved molestation, including his own molestation by multiple perpetrators, or his victimization of others.”

State officials are arguing that because of his reduced testosterone count, Smith no longer poses as much of a threat for recidivism. This is what is going to let the convicted predator back onto the streets, and will inevitably used as a rationale to free many other pedophiles as well.

Dr. Tracy Thomas, a forensic pathologist who formerly worked at the Cherokee Civil Commitment Unit for Sex Offenders, said that the state must “essentially prove an offender has a chance offending greater than 51% for the rest of his life” in order for that individual to remain confined.

“From an evaluator’s standpoint, our recommendation is based on whether someone is more than likely to re-offend,” Thomas said on Monday. “Between 5% and 15% of sex offenders re-offend, so it takes an extraordinarily high burden to prove someone has a 51% chance.”

Hicks told the public not to be alarmed by Smith’s release, as the predator would be on probation for the rest of his life and subject to supervision.

“Josie Smith will be subject to strict sex-offender reporting required of those who commit the crimes she did,” Hicks said. “She’ll be subject to supervision for the rest of her life.”

However, Smith will be free to walk the streets and potentially commit more child sex crimes considering the state will not be able keep constant tabs on the convicted pedophile.

The freeing of this child sex criminal comes as the LGBT movement transitions into the mainstreaming of pedophilia.

Big League Politics reported on the academic push to legitimize “pederastic intimacy” last week:

University of Texas at Austin professor Thomas Hubbard has been writing about the concept of “pederastic intimacy” in an attempt to rationalize child rape.

Hubbard has written that pederasty, or sexual relations between a man and a boy, was a “prominent social phenomenon in numerous ancient Greek cultures.” He claims that “contemporary American legislation premised on children’s incapacity to ‘consent’ to sexual relations stems from outmoded gender constructions and ideological preoccupations of the late Victorian and Progressive Era.”

His 22-page article, published in the academic journal Thymos, is titled “Sexual Consent and the Adolescent Male, or What Can We Learn From the Greeks.” It is little more than a thinly-veiled argument to legalize pedophilia and enable the victimization of young children.

Hubbard argues in his article that “where age discrepant relationships are commonplace and positively reinforced, they cause little or no long-term harm to the younger partner and often confer great benefit.”

He believes in lowering the age of consent first to grease the slippery slope toward the legalization of pedophilia. He says that America “should consider moving in the direction of what most European states do, which is to maintain an age of consent of 14 or 15.”

A student also claims that Hubbard made them “write a paper over lowering the age of consent and lowering the punishment for sexually assaulting a child under the age of 6.” Hubbard has been published by the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), an explicitly pro-pedophilia group.
