Cory Booker Blasted For Releasing Confidential Documents at Kavanaugh Hearing
A radical leftist Senator from New Jersey released confidential documents that only members of the Senate were privy to during the confirmation hearing for soon-to-be Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
“I’m saying I’m knowingly violating the rules, said Sen. Corey Booker (D-NJ). “Im saying right now that I’m releasing committee confidential documents.”
Booker was then blasted by fellow Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX).
“Running for president is no excuse for violating the rules of the Senate, or the confidentiality of the documents that we are privy to” Cornyn said, alluding to the fact that Booker is considering a 2020 presidential run. “This is no different from the Senator deciding to release classified information that is deemed classified by the executive branch because you happen to disagree with the classification decision. That is irresponsible and outrageous.”
The reaction to Booker’s decision was likewise fiery.
“Expel Cory Booker from the Senate,” said TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk.

“@CoryBooker must be expelled from the US Senate. His actions today cannot and must not be tolerated. Mr. Booker has brought great shame upon himself,” said Fox News’ Todd Starnes.

Initial report regarding the contents of the documents indicate that they are not as explosive as Booker made them out to be. Grandstanding is indeed one of the greatest assets of elected officials.
