Cucked Republican Governor Mike DeWine Vetoes Prohibition on Sex Changes for Minors

On December 29, 2023, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine vetoed a bill that would prohibit doctors from carrying out sex-change medical procedures on minors and prevent males from competing in women’s sports.
State Representative Gary Click introduced the bill back in February and received emphatic support in the Ohio State House and Ohio State Senate earlier in December.
DeWine gave a sob speech during a press conference about his talks with families who asserted that their children would be dead without “gender-affirming care,” a few hours prior to the deadline, the governor announced that he had vetoed the legislation.
“Were I to sign House Bill 68 … Ohio would be saying that the government knows better what is medically best for the child than the two people who love that child the most, the parents,” DeWine stated. “Now, while there are rare times in the law in other circumstances, where the state overrules the medical decisions made by their parents, I can think of no example, where this is done not only against the decision of the parents but also against the medical judgment of the treating physician and against the judgment of the treating team of medical experts. Therefore, I cannot sign this bill as it is currently written.”
The bill prohibited doctors from prescribing puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, and from carrying out transgender surgeries on minors, per the text. DeWine stated during the press conference that his administration is going to craft regulations to bar minors from accessing this type of medical treatment.
DeWine did not give any specifics about whether he was only against prohibiting “non-surgical gender-affirming treatments.”
“I’m in favor of what I’ve said, which is what I’m in favor of parents making these very difficult decisions, not the government,” he remarked.
DeWine did not mention much about the sports prohibition until reporters grilled him about it. The Ohio governor has manifested his opposition to transgender sports prohibitions. When he was subjected to journalist inquiry, DeWine asserted that he concentrated on the part of the bill that “affected the most people.”
“The second sports part of this bill is certainly important, but it affects just a handful, literally a handful of children. The part that I’ve addressed, affects many more … and I did not ever get to the second or second issue and that’s enough for one gulp at this anyway.”
DeWine is a spineless cuck who needs to be relieved of the burden of holding higher office. Republicans should have zero tolerance for such cowardly political behavior.
