Democrats Shift 2022 Midterm Messaging, Smear Republicans For Wanting To ‘Crash The Economy’

The defining topic for the 2022 midterm elections is inflation.

Democrats are finally starting to take this news seriously, so they are moving their campaign messaging to the economy. But, they are doing so in typical liberal fashion: blaming Republicans for all of the nation’s problems.

Just take a look at the rhetoric coming from President Joe Biden, who has been in office for two years already, and has been in control of both the House and the Senate.

Somehow, according to the White House, Republicans want to “crash the economy” if they were to take power in November.

“Republican leadership in congress has made it clear. They will crash the economy next year,” the President belligerently stated.

Other Democrat talking heads are parroting this message. Shifting the focus of the failed economy thanks to disastrous spending legislation, drained oil reserves, shut down drilling, and unprecedented money printing onto Republicans.

“Republicans are already plotting to slash programs like Social Security and Medicare if they control Congress. Hardworking Americans have earned these benefits and no one should take them away,” wrote Elizabeth Warren on Twitter.

While this shift in messaging ensues, Democrats are still hellbent on making the 2022 midterm elections about abortion too. Even though most Americans are really only focused on the economy and the rise in crime across the nation.

“As Republicans continue pushing horrific abortion bans, women across the country are struggling to access essential health care, including abortion,” Warren also tweeted.

“We need to make Roe the law of the land again, and that’s what Democrats are fighting for,” she added.

Another big talking point coming from the White House is the claim that under Joe Biden, the US has cut its deficit by $1.4 trillion – which would be the largest one-year drop in American history.

Critics of this claim have stated that this point is meaningless considering the average American 401K has dropped significantly under the Biden presidency. And inflation has cost Americans way more than the deficit as a whole.

Regardless, Democrats are working hard to change the narrative – like they always do – to paint Republicans as the source of all of America’s problems.

Only issue for Democrats is that Americans aren’t buying the propaganda. They have lost far too much in just two years, with no signs of improvement under this current administration. Especially with looming consequences thanks to inflation and food shortages on the horizon.

Joe Biden is right when he says this midterm election is one of the most important ones we’ve had in generations. Americans are not going to sit this one out.
