DESANTIS: People Who Celebrate ‘Degenerates Like Weinstein’ Opposing Us Is ‘A Badge Of Honor’

Why are many in popular culture so strongly opposed to a bill forbidding the push of homosexuality on children at such a young age? Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called out both Hollywood and the corporate media alike for this at a recent discussion pertaining to his “Parental Rights in Education” legislation that prevents teachers from instructing children ranging from Kindergarten to the third grade level about different sexual orientations in the classroom.
DeSantis covered numerous topics during the talk, at one point even revealing a Leftist “gingerbread person” pamphlet which he claimed has been shown to children in Florida schools in order to teach them an ideology that denies the biological existence of gender itself.
The bill has been routinely characterized as the “don’t say gay” bill by numerous actors both in the Democrat Party and corporate media alike. Such characterizations are of course built on entirely false premises, which Big League Politics discussed during earlier reports of the legislation.
“There’s been a lot of discussions about this particular piece of legislation,” DeSantis said. “You’ve seen a lot of sloganeering and fake narratives by leftist politicians, by activists, by corporate media. And you still see it even today after a lot of this stuff has been debunked.”
“Now, it’s true, many of the people who have whipped this up have never actually read the bill,” he said. “They haven’t taken the time to do that. They would rather just further their narratives. But I must tell you these leftist politicians and corporate media led some of these activist groups. They actually have read the bill and they are sloganeering because they don’t want to admit that they support a lot of things that we’re providing protections against.”
The Florida governor then went on to discuss the far left’s sick ideology aimed at brainwashing our nation’s youth to no longer accept reality, starting with the disintegration of gender itself.
“For example, they support sexualizing kids in kindergarten,” DeSantis stated. “They support injecting woke gender ideology into 2nd-grade classrooms. They support enabling schools to ‘transition’ students to a ‘different gender’ without the knowledge of the parent, much less without the parents’ consent.”
“What they are doing with these slogans and these narratives is they are trying to camouflage their true intentions,” DeSantis declared. “They know and every single poll that has been done that actually reads the language in the bill will find overwhelmingly that Americans oppose injecting this type of material into the classroom of young kids. Americans support the right of parents to be informed and to be able to withhold consent over certain types of medical treatments in school. So they know that and that is why they are resorting to some of the narratives.”
“Let’s just be clear: It’s not just all of them who have not read the bill. Many of them have not. Many have and many of them want to see this type of stuff in our schools. So be very, very careful when you see that,” he continued.
It was at that moment when DeSantis brought out the big guns, proudly proclaiming that he was proud to politically oppose those who support Hollywood rapists.
“There are people in Hollywood that are opposed to providing protections for parents and enforcing parents’ rights. The one thing I’ll say about that is that if the people who held up degenerates like Harvey Weinstein up as exemplars and as heroes and all that, if those are the type of people who are opposing us on parents’ rights, I wear that like a badge of honor,” DeSantis passionately concluded before a roaring round of applause.
