Churchill has been credited by historians for saving Europe against Nazi Germany, a regime that was arguably the most racist and anti-Semitic in history. Despite his incredible work in beating back the forces of racism and anti-antisemitism during his years as Prime Minister, Churchill’s legacy is still being desecrated by the left-wing mob.

Der Spiegel outlines Churchill’s incredible courage and how he faced off against Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Churchill’s victory over Hitler saved liberalism throughout Europe and would pave the way for movements like social justice to rise.

It was the summer of 1940, and Hitler, who was the Chancellor of the German Reich by then, was closer to winning the war than he would ever be again. The German had overrun Poland, occupied Norway and defeated and humiliated France, a major power. It seemed only a matter of time before Hitler would dominate all of Europe. He was aligned with the Soviets and the Americans were still neutral and biding their time.

Ironically, it was Great Britain, the only country Hitler truly admired and respected, that defied the dictator. Churchill declared that he had only one goal: “Victory — victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be.”

Great Britain persevered for a good year, from France’s capitulation until Hitler’s attack on the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941, despite German air raids on London and Coventry, despite German victories in Africa, the Balkans and Scandinavia, and despite the threat of national bankruptcy.

And Churchill deserved the credit for this perseverance.

The prime minister, with his trademark Cuban cigars, polka dot bow tie and conspicuous hats, became the world’s most important symbolic figure of resistance against Nazi Germany. Whenever he appeared in public, the crowds would raise their hands and part their index and middle fingers to form the victory symbol, just as he had done.

Hitler berated his rival as a “lunatic,” “paralytic” and “world arsonist.” Churchill shot back, calling Hitler a “wicked man,” the “monstrous product of former wrongs and shame” and said that “Europe will not yield itself to Hitler’s gospel of hatred.” It soon became clear that the loser in this duel would pay with his life.

The perseverance of the British was of great and probably decisive importance in shaping the course of World War II. How else could the United States have launched an invasion of the European continent if the British Isles hadn’t been available to it as a giant aircraft carrier?

ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter have initiated a full-blown cultural genocide, and they want to destroy all symbols that are a reminder of the greatness of Western Civilization beating back tyranny and injustice. They are more dangerous to the future of the West than ISIS could ever hope to be.

Italian Populist Youth Group Praises Trump for His Peace Efforts

The Lega Nord is one of Europe’s strongest populist parties.

The Lega Giovani, the youth branch of Salvini’s Lega party, announced its support in nominating President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Due to Trump’s efforts in brokering peace deals between Gulf Arab states and Israel, one Norwegian lawmaker Christian Tybring-Gjedde nominated the president for the Nobel Peace prize.

In a statement, Luca Toccalini, a member of the Italian Parliament and Chairman of Lega Giovani, declared that the “globalist left is losing its mind, scared by the outcome of the upcoming American elections, and this latest news decisively increased their worries.”

Toccalini added that Lega Giovani “strongly” supports the “nomination of President Donald Trump, a just reward for the continued dedication of his administration for lasting peace with a bilateral and multi polar approach.”

The populist Italian member of Parliament noted how Trump’s Middle East agenda has contrasted with Obama’s:

After a decade of turmoil in the Middle East and North Africa, sponsored by a globalist agenda and President Obama’s dreams of revolution, the last 4 years have seen great improvement for the stability in our neighbourhood which has also helped Europe.

Toccalini concluded:

Wishing four more years of peace and greatness, as Lega Giavani we strongly support Donald J. Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Matteo Salvini and Lega have led the way in putting populism on the map throughout Europe. Salvini broke the mold by implementing pro-gun reforms in 2018 and 2019. What seems like a concept that is only confined to the U.S., now the right to bear arms is starting to enter the conversation in Europe. Political organizations like Lega have undoubtedly changed political discourse in Italian politics and Europe, for that matter.

Youth organizations such as Lega Giovani will play a substantial role in spreading Lega’s message and educating younger generations of Italians and preparing them to be the new populist vanguard of an ever-changing European polity.
