Disgraced Fake News Anchor Chris Cuomo Demands $125 Million From CNN After Firing

Christopher Cuomo, the disgraced fake news anchor who was fired from CNN after allegedly colluding with his brother to shield him from the fallout of his sex scandal, is demanding $125 million in arbitration from his former employer.
“Cuomo has had his journalistic integrity unjustifiably smeared, making it difficult if not impossible for Cuomo to find similar work in the future and damaging him in amounts exceeding $125 million, which includes not only the remaining salary owed under the Agreement, but future wages lost as a result of CNN’s efforts to destroy his reputation,” Cuomo’s lawyers allege in the claim, which was obtained by The Wrap.
“Cuomo now seeks to recover the full measure of his damages against Turner and CNN,” the filing states.
Cuomo and his attorneys are disputing the widespread allegation that he colluded with his brother, former New York governor Andrew Cuomo, to malign his reported abuse victims.
“It should by now be obvious that Chris Cuomo did not lie to CNN about helping his brother,” a statement issued to The Wrap from Cuomo reads.
“In fact, as the limited information released from WarnerMedia’s investigation makes clear, CNN’s highest-level executive not only knew about Chris’s involvement in helping his brother but also actively assisted the Governor, both through Chris and directly themselves. As CNN has admitted, network standards were changed in a calculated decision to boost ratings,” the statement continued.
When those practices were called into question, Chris was made the scapegoat … [it’s] clear that CNN wrongfully terminated Chris and further violated the express terms of his employment agreement by allowing its employees to disparage him,” they added.

“Corporate news organization CNN is conducting of “review” of evening host Chris Cuomo, after the beleaguered host was implicated in using his media connections to assist now-disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. The older Cuomo was driven from office in a sexual harassment scandal, following a controversy over the deaths of tens of thousands of New York seniors through forced placement in coronavirus-ridden nursing homes.
New York Attorney General Leticia James revealed text messages in which Chris Cuomo used his journalistic connections to feed information on Andrew Cuomo’s sexual harassment accusers to Cuomo staffers. Chris Cuomo texted his brother’s top aide, Anna DeRosa, promising information on a woman who had claimed Andrew Cuomo attempted to forcibly kiss her at a wedding. “I have a lead on the wedding girl,” said the younger Cuomo to DeRosa.
In another text message, Chris Cuomo asked DeRosa to “let me help with the prep,” referencing planned Andrew Cuomo speeches and statements seeking to deflect and rebuke the sexual harassment accusations. Chris Cuomo drafted a full statement slamming “cancel culture” for Andrew, explaining why he “could not” resign.
CNN potato Brian Stelter announced that the network, widely known for a lack of journalistic ethics and spreading disinformation, would be reviewing Cuomo over the controversy.
Some have argued that Andrew Cuomo’s exodus from office was spurred by a #MeToo flurry of accusations which aren’t properly substantiated and ignored due process. However, the former Democrat governor was proud to stand for “believing women” and accepting premises of sexual impropriety without evidence- a standard he was more than willing to apply to people who lack his own political and media connections.
Chris Cuomo had previously denied reports that he worked PR for his brother during his downfall, a claim that now appears to be a lie. His interference in a story on behalf of Andrew Cuomo’s interests represents a profound betrayal of journalistic integrity, a frequent trait of CNN’s broadcasting and digital media.”
The fallout over this claim should be bad for CNN and/or the Cuomo family. American patriots should be sitting back with their popcorn enjoying the show.
